Amazing!!! The best reason to return to Marrakech. Superb attention, wonderful atmosphere, best pools ever, Moroccan and international restaurants. Try Pastille and the Tajín. The room belongs to the thousand and one nights. An Oasis in the desert.

Rude staff, if there were any available or around to help. All in all not a nice experience, felt very intimidated at points especially when I complained about the stay. Would not go back and wouldn't recommend to any one, it's equally a very isolated hotel.

What a stunning hotel! It provided us with a few days of calm after a busy time exploring Marrakech and the desert. A very welcome upgrade to a 2 bed villa was just wonderful and made the stay even more enjoyable. The private pool was a real treat. All the staff were helpful and friendly (Yassa was always on hand for advice) but not intrusive. The gardens were beautiful to walk through and both restaurants served delicious evening meals. Breakfast was outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel and if you wanted to see the city, the regular complimentary buses would take you in and out. First class hotel - would definitely stay again.

Great place to chill out and relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. There is a free shuttle bus into the town or you can easily get a taxi for about 200 rms. We stayed for three nights before going up to the Atlas Mountains for two nights and then for one night on our return to Marrakesh. Both rooms had a lot of character and were extremely comfortable with large beds and so make for a good night’s sleep. Very quiet at night. Three pools- one of which is heated in the winter. We were really impressed with the food at the hotel. We are out in Marrakesh on a number of occasions but found that the hotel food was just as good if not better.

We only went for dinner! The food was ok, but not brilliant. The decor here is "1956 France" and the whole place lacks any sort of atmosphere. Wine expensive. Wouldn't go again. Can't think of anything else to make up the required 200 words. A bland experience.

Visited with my three teen to twenties children, the Tigmiza offers a free transfer service from Marrakech (L'ensemble Artisanal car park - the Ensemble Artisanal is worth a visit, it's a cooperative of local arts and crafts makers and sellers, prices are provided on the items, and it's a lovely environment to buy some souvenirs from locals without haggling unless you want to!) The driver arrived and whisked us off to Tigmiza in an air-conditioned minibus, and we were in a little paradise oasis for a day, there are three beautiful pools, fountains, beautiful gardens, and charming, efficient staff. As we entered the hotel we were greeted warmly, and wandered into the gardens, sun beds were set up for us, with towels, beneath parasols once we had decided where to go, towels included. Lunch for day pass members is at the pool bar, which has shady tables, and very good service, it's a set menu for day pass holders, but flexible if you are a vegetarian (you can choose off the a la carte if you need to). We had our starter and main course (main for the meat eaters was a vast and varied Moroccan mixed grill with chips, starter was a tomato, mozzarella and pesto salad) pudding was fruit salad, which we took later in the day and paid a supplement for sorbets too. Drinks are extra, at normal hotel prices. A beautiful place, warm welcome, the day flew by and we would have loved a few more hours.

Tigmiza is a beautiful hotel, with chic interiors and stunning landscaped gardens. We stayed in the Majorelle suite, which featured domed ceilings, chandeliers and pretty filigree pendant lampshades, plus accents in the famed Majorelle blue. There is a lovely heated pool surrounded by rooms, plus two larger pools (not heated) with loungers. Many of the beds are in shade throughout the day and if you want to be in the sun there’s a bit of moving round required through the day due to the trees. Not an issue as there were plenty of available beds. During summer this probably isn’t such an issue with the sun higher in the sky. The breakfast restaurant, called Libiti, is an airy room adorned with decorative mirrors and featuring an open fire - much welcomed during the chilly February mornings! A varied selection of treats awaited us from shredded chicken and sautéed potatoes to omelette, pancakes, pastries and delicious apple crumble. We ate dinner in the Lallati restaurant one night - very tasty Moroccan specialities accompanied by a Gnawa band which was an unexpected treat. The hotel arranged an evening excursion for us to the Agafay desert including camel ride, and also booked us a table at the Le Marrakchi restaurant in Djemaa el Fna square - we got the best table in the house! We loved our spa treatments and the beds in the relaxation room were so soft and comfy I didn’t want to leave after my blissful massage! It wasn’t made clear that service charge would be added to the spa price - perhaps a note on the spa information would be useful to help with budgeting. The shuttle into the Medina was an excellent way to get to and from the city. You will need to factor in a c10 min walk to Djemaa el Fna. A later return shuttle would be useful (last one back is at 8.30pm). We got a taxi back after our dinner. (Beware of scams - our driver tried to add on a spurious ‘night time double fare’ and tried the old put the note he’d been given in his pocket and produce a smaller one trick, trying to make out we’d underpaid. We weren’t having any of it! Just an aside as a world of warning!) All the staff at Tigmiza were very welcoming and were eager to make our stay a happy and memorable one. Thank you to them all! On our last day we requested a late check out (offered free of charge to guests booking directly with the hotel, subject to availability). Unfortunately new guests were checking into the room but we were told there was a shower room we could use to freshen up. When the time came for us to get ready to leave, we were taken to the back of the events pavilion at the far end of the hotel grounds. The shower there was cold with the tiniest dribble of water which made for a pretty unpleasant experience - and we were so far from reception, in towels and with our taxi due to arrive soon, so there was no alternative than to shower as best we could. I had to run a basin of (also cold) water to wash my hair. Perhaps offering guests the spa showers might

A wonderful place to stay. Everything was well maintained with stylish and elegant decor, furniture and fittings. The facilities were excellent and the staff and the service they provided was outstanding. The food and restaurants were first class. We couldn’t fault the place or our stay. The restaurant and bar staff could not have been more attentive and friendly, particularly Aidan, Rashid and Mustafa. The housecleaning staff also made us feel special, particularly Nassira, Noura, Oumoima and Amina.

As always... the best service and the most private and charming place ever... with highly qualified, caring and kind staff ( a thousand thanks to the reception team), combined with delicious cuisine, especially Moroccan ( a special thanks to the restaurant team) tempting me to come back as soon as I have a couple of days off... Looking forward to joining you as soon as possible. Mohamed-Walid ROUDE
