Riad & Spa Laurence Olivier

We went to Marrakesh to celebrate my husbands 70 th birthday & stayed at the Riad Laurence Olivier which was excellent in every way ! The Staff were extremely helpful & very friendly the room was amazing & the food beyond delicious. . Highly recommend

My daughter and me spent 7 nights in Riad Laurence Olivier this February and we had an absolutely amazing holiday! It was our first time in Marrakech and staff of the Riad made our holiday extra special. Everyone - Simone, Mohammed, Ali, Fatima were mega helpful and friendly, gave us a lot of recommendations, tips and tricks for our holiday, and were happy to help with anything and everything! The owner of the place Laurence is super friendly and often found talking to her guests ensuring everyone is having the best time! She even gave my daughter and me a very nice present for a Valentine's day! 🥰 The Riad itself is absolutely beautiful, every single detail is stunning, rooms, orange trees, swimming pool, resident tortoises, birds singing their beautiful songs. My daughter and me also had a pleasure to visit Riad's very own hamam and utterly enjoyed it! The Riad is also situated in the very convenient place in Medina, all main sights are in a walking distance - Bahia palace, Saadian tombs, Jenaa En Fna square, souks, Le Jardin Secret (10-15 minutes walk). Majorelle gardens are about 20 minutes away by car. Simone also helped us with a trip to Agafay desert which was a magical experience! We choose to come & stay in Riad Laurence Olivier to celebrate my 60th birthday & 10th wedding Anniversary. We were greeted by Laurence herself. Wow ! She's so warm, charming & lovely & really wants you to have the best time. She was so kind & upgraded us to a suite which was fantastic ! We had the Yellow Room. Beautifully decorated with exquisite plaster work on the ceilings. We felt like royalty throughout our stay. Laurence was extremely helpful with what to see & do. She arranged a special dinner for me at the Riad to celebrate my birthday. It was an amazing celebration with fantastic food, music & a delicious cake. A perfect & memorable evening. Ali , Simeon & Muhammed were very attentive throughout the evening making sure I was happy & enjoying myself. I owe a huge thank you to them for making the evening so perfect ! A huge thank you to Laurence for arranging it all. She's the Best ! The food at the Riad was fantastic ! Fatima the cook made some delicious dishes like Chicken with Lemons & Olives. Courgettes in Lemon. We ate dinner here several times & each time the food & wine was fantastic. Thank you Fatima. We were attended to every evening & every morning by Muhammed, Ail & Simeon. The breakfasts was equally delightful. Freshly squeezed orange juice ,freshly made breads, fresh fruit salad & the best mint tea in Marrakech. Thank you Ali, Simeon & Muhammed. Our room was cleaned beautifully by Rabia every day. She was so warm & lovely & made our room smell gorgeous too. Thank you Rabia. The Riad itself was located 15 minutes away from the Souks. As soon as you approach it, you are faced by the most Beautiful Door & greeted by all the most kindest & friendliest of staff. It's an oasis of beauty & calmness inside. Each & every room is beautifully decorated with so much thought & style. I looked at all the various Riads near the Medina & chose this one after reading all the reviews. It exceeded all my expectations & more. A wonderful, beautiful, calm, romantic Riad with the Best Food, Amazing & Attentive Staff & not forgetting Laurence who is a very special beautiful person.

Absolutely stunning. We have just returned from a three night stay and can highly recommend this Riad. The quality of accommodation and the service from all staff made our stay memorable. It is in a great location within the Medina and a short walk to the souks. The breakfasts are lovely and we ate in the Riad each night - beautiful food. We will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day break in Marrakech and a large part of this was due to the Riad Laurence Olivier and its staff . The Riad is amazing , fantastic terrace , delightful eating area by the pool , idyllic quadrangle and charming Morrocan rooms .The food ,both breakfast and supper , is all fresh , made and served with care , at a relaxing pace and importantly is very tasty . Mrs Olivier and all the staff were welcoming ,helpful and keen to make our holiday enjoyable and easy .They ensured we knew the area and where not to go alongside where to go.They were happy to book our day in the mountains and the sunset camel ride both of which went to plan and were good fun.They offered guidance on where the ATMs were , how much we should pay for Tuk Tuks and how to barter Big thank you everyone at Riad Laurence Olivier for you warm welcome , your willingness to go out of you way to make our holiday so memorable .

We hadn’t been to Marrakesh before so decided to stay in a Riad in the Medina. We chose the Laurence Olivier and couldn’t of chosen better. The staff were truly awesome, Simon, Ali and Mohammad along with the other folks that worked there were just brilliant. They were courteous, attentive, caring, knowledgeable and just made our holiday remarkable. Laurence the owner took time to speak with us, asking us what more could she do to help, and was a role model for the staff there. The cooks made exceptional food, really exquisite and flavoursome Moroccan dishes. We ate dinner at the Riad on two occasions and enjoyed great breakfasts every morning. If ever we go back to Marrakesh we’ll stay here again. Thanks each and everyone of you.

An incredible oasis of perfumed charm and luxury with the most incredible staff. Nothing is too much bother ..The continental breakfast is delicious...However if you fancy a delicious omelette or something else the staff are more than happy to accommodate.The ground floor...pool area and roof terrace are all beautiful to relax at the end of a day's exploration with a cold beer or glass of wine. Is the surrounding area the prettiest 😍 no ..However it is authentic and adds to whole experience..15 minutes walk to the main square..souk etc. Seymen/Ali/Mohammed/Fatima and Holud you were all a joy to meet thanks for everything ❤️ Frank and Alison xx

The Riad is absolutely stunning & the staff very helpful , from the moment we arrived we were met by the Manager Simeon who gave us welcome coffee and biscuits. The rooms are beautiful, with marble showers traditional Moroccan decor and extremely clean. Breakfast is delicious and is set out by the pool in what only could be called a beautiful oasis with palm trees. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh linen and towels , bath robes and slippers. Air con above the bed as it was very hot . I highly recommend this Riad also close to the main attractions. The one thing I will take away with me is how welcoming and helpful Simeon and Staff were in particular one called Mohammed would always speak to us and give good recommendations for excursions. Also waking up every morning listening to the many different birds singing was just so surreal and magical
