The room is so-so, an old hotel, but the beach and underwater coral fish are one of the best in the entire Red Sea. It is definitely not wrong to come here to play in the sea, and there is also a magnificent sunrise

First, the negatives... The rooms could use some refurbishment as they feel a bit outdated. It takes a long time for the shower water to reach a comfortable temperature. The heated pool is quite small. I find it absurd that, in 2025, we still have to pay for Wi-Fi, and what’s even worse is that it only works in the lobby. This is definitely not acceptable anymore. The beach is a bit farther away, and you have to cross a "highway" to get there, although you are assisted in doing so. On the positive side, the cleanliness of the resort is great, and the food is adequate, though it could be a little more varied. The staff is friendly, though they could perhaps be a bit more welcoming compared to other places I’ve been to. There is plenty of food available throughout the day, both at the resort and on the beach. There’s also daily animation, almost all day long, and that’s well done. The team works really hard, especially Ibrahim, who stands out as an exceptional part of the team—his energy, enthusiasm, and dedication really made a difference. Ibrahim is not just an entertainer; he's someone who genuinely cares about making guests feel welcome and engaged. Along with Faris, he truly made my experience memorable. As an entertainer myself, I quickly bonded with Omar, "Mario," Faris, and Ibrahim, who made the whole experience even more enjoyable with his positive attitude and exceptional hospitality.

Let's start by saying I have travelled to Marsa Alam 5 times before, different hotels, and whilst I love snorkeling, even in rougher conditions and am a confident swimmer, I tried to look somewhere where there's a nice beach access, straight into the water. And that's what makes Aurora Bay perfect, the beach. Shallow sandy beach leads to a very nice reef, we saw a seaturtle, rays, eels, and every kind of fish possible. The hotel itself is small, no 5 star luxury to be expected, it's an older hotel, there are renovations at the most distant parts. It definitely showed a bit wear and tear, but you don't come to Egypt to stay inside your rooms do you? The hotel is clean, people are lovely and helpful, we stayed for 2 weeks and always found things at the restaurant we liked. WiFi is not included, the price is fairly high and it only works in the lobby, so best to check with your mobile provider for plans during your stay or buy a sim card.

Great service en very helpfull people thr hotel is looking good en the rooms are clean the food is great and big. There is something for everybody. The service around the poolis great you have a bar in the pool where you can get cold drinks
