Hotel Ligo by HappyCulture

The junior suite is perfect for two people, each having their own bed. The sofa bed converts easily into a bed, which is very convenient. The small kitchen is also practical, and with a supermarket nearby, it's easy to prepare simple breakfasts and dinners. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy due to being by the street.

Great location, very close to the main street and within walking distance to the Old Port. The room layout was a bit strange, with too many unnecessary cabinets taking up a lot of space. The bathtub was very small, with hardly any flat surface to stand on, so you have to be careful when showering. Breakfast is 18 Euros, and there's a decent selection. You can add it on the spot.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's just one metro stop from Marseille train station and less than a 10-minute walk to the Old Port, making it easy to get anywhere. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful!

When checking in, I had some personal requests that I hoped Ctrip and the hotel could help adjust. Although it wasn't successful in the end, I still appreciate the hotel front desk staff's patience and the small compensation they offered. This hotel has many advantages. The overall atmosphere is great, and some small details show a lot of care, such as the coffee machine and water dispenser in the lobby. Sometimes there are fresh croissants, and the staff even mentioned a kids' snack time in the afternoon, though my child didn't attend. The room layout is quite good, with a separate wet and dry area for the bathroom, and a clothes dryer in the shower. However, I must mention one issue: upon entering the room, I smelled a sour, sweaty odor. It became even stronger when I went to sleep, to the point of being eye-watering. I sniffed the pillows and realized the smell was coming from them, and several of them were like this. This is truly the first time I've encountered such a problem. I ended up wrapping a bed sheet and a bath towel around my head to use as a pillow. I didn't inform the hotel, as even if they gave me different pillows, I wouldn't dare to use them. If the hotel sees this review, I hope you take this issue seriously. You excel in so many areas, and losing customers because of this would be a real shame. The hotel breakfast is quite good. I absolutely love their croissants and yogurt. Even close to closing time, they still replenish fresh food, which is really impressive! At night, please be very careful when entering and exiting the hotel. There are some homeless people nearby. One evening, I stepped out, walked a few steps, and squatted down to tie my shoelace. I noticed someone behind me suddenly stop and walk back. I suspected he wanted to steal something from me and I caught him. I wore valuable jewelry for over 20 days in Europe, but in Lyon, I took all my jewelry off because I didn't feel safe.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Old Port, making it very easy to visit the attractions there. The breakfast is abundant with a wide variety of options. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. Some room types even come with a kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their own meals.

I felt very safe and the place was clean and tidy. All the rooms were fully equipped, and even had a balcony! The king-sized bed was super comfy and the air conditioning system worked perfectly. The USB charging ports were really convenient. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The surrounding area is also great, with a 24-hour convenience store downstairs. It's also within walking distance to the city center and the Old Port.

A really good 4-star hotel. It's a 12-minute walk to the train station; the facilities are new, so new that the装修smell hasn't completely faded yet; and the soundproofing is excellent. The only downside is the air conditioning – it's not effective, the temperature is high, and the airflow is weak, making it hard to sleep during a heatwave.

Very clean, with excellent air conditioning. The environment is great, and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast was delicious, though a bit pricey. I really loved the decor, and the location is fantastic. It was a very enjoyable trip!
