Zenitude Hôtel Résidences Marseille Saint-Charles Reviews

We requested a change of towels on the second night and were told there’s none as they only provide housekeeping and change of towels for stays 7 days and more. The horrible things are the aircon is not working and we were told we have to live with it since it’s an old hotel🤦🏻♀️😡. The reception didn’t bother to offer to change our room. We hung the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. To our horror, the housekeeper put the rug in the basin, no change of towels. Just only to makeup the beds.

Located conveniently in the heart of Marseille. Very close to the old port area. Staff is very helpful, the AC in our room wasn’t working but they gave us a fan.

Great location, not far from the Old Port

Value for money was great. The room was very clean and kitchenette was complete. But the refrigerator wasn’t working at all…so we couldn’t keep anything cold. Air-conditioning was very effective and quiet. Location was not great, but good — it was super near Gare Saint-Charles, but around a 10-15min walk to the Old Port. Nevertheless, I would recommend this aparthotel.

The train station is a five-minute walk away, and the old town center is a ten-minute walk away. It is also very close to the subway station. In general, transportation is very convenient. The room has a small kitchen, which can be used for simple cooking. The air conditioning is also very powerful, which is not very common in Europe. After staying for three days, I felt that it was quite safe to go out during the day and not come back very late. The only drawback is that the windows are generally soundproof, and the balcony door is not closed tightly. It will be very noisy if you don't wear earplugs. It is still very pleasant to watch the sunset on the balcony. Overall, it is still recommended.

In general, it is quite cost-effective. The room is relatively large, with a bathtub, and the location is not far from the supermarket. The opposite side is also a tourist attraction, a very outrageous tourist attraction.

When I visited for other business a few months ago, the location was great and the building was great. I had a good feeling because it was very new. We would like to thank the hotel for their cooperation in changing this reservation. Highly recommended.

Good location, but the facility is old, when we are in Marseille, it was cloudy

I stayed there for three nights and the room was never cleaned. When we complained to the reception they told us that the cleaning ladies would come but having found the room occupied they would not clean it, when in reality my travel friend and I left early in the morning and returned late in the evening (so their exception was not true). The result was a dirty and unmade room for the entire stay, without even changing towels. They then told us that the fact that cleaning was not included in the cost was known, but we pointed out that the booking site did not mention it. Furthermore, even if the room had been cleaned, they told us that it would only include cleaning the floor and making the bed. But we didn't even get that! On the last day the drain broke and they changed our room. The location is central, although the neighborhood was not great. For the rest I absolutely do not recommend the structure.

The room is very small, not as big as described, and has no balcony

The hotel is very close to the train station, just a dozen minutes' walk away. There is no obvious sign for the hotel, so it is easy to miss it when you first check in. The room facilities are a bit old, but there are stoves and pots and pans, which can be used to cook noodles, boil eggs, and make simple meals. Not far from the hotel is the Muslim Residents' Market, which has all kinds of fruits and vegetables. The surrounding environment is a little worse, but not to the extent that there is personal danger. The price is affordable, I give it a score of 3.5

The location is very good 👍 It is very close to the train station and Marseille Port, and you can walk there~ Maybe the rooms are full and I was not given a chance to check in early, but I can store my luggage for free The hotel-style apartment has a large room with two doors. The safety is relatively good~ Because I had to catch an early train, I needed to have breakfast early. After telling the person at the front desk the night before, I had it smoothly the next day. Good location of the hotel, 5 minutes from the railway station and the historical center. The room was spacious with its own balcony. It was clean and cozy.
