Glen Ayr Resort

What a great little waterside inn. Room was large and clean. It had 2 comfy chairs and a table that we could relax and play games at. The common room is open 24 hours and has pool, games, and sitting areas. There is a kitchen with free coffee and cookware for guests to use. The staff were so sweet and warm. We really enjoyed our stay and I’d love to come back. It’s the perfect level of cozy and comfortable for my tastes. Just don’t expect fancy.

We stayed two nights for my daughter’s scuba diving class. Location is great, just a quick walk across the street to the dock. The resort was in fantastic condition, with nice clean rooms. We were very happy the entire time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can’t say enough good things!

The room is a bargain for what you get. You get all the usual amenities plus access to a hot tub. Rooms are small kitchenette style with keurig drink maker featuring coffee, tea & hot chocolate. The TV features standard cable channels. There are snacks available in the lobby. The rooms are clean and nice. Staff is welcoming and accommodating. If you need late arrival, they’re all set up with a lockbox for you to get your key. They are on the waterfront and have a dock where you can enjoy the views and watch seals and birds and boats. This is where I stay in Hoodsport! One final note: if you’re here to scuba dive, you’re welcome to return after diving and use showers that they have in their common area, as well as the hot tub, even if you have checked out!

Absolutely fabulous quaint place the room was very clean. The view was spectacular and the staff was exceptional. Third or fourth time i've stayed here, and i've always been happy. If you want a wonderful place to stay on the water with A. Terrific water view, an exceptional staff and awesome rv. Sites, ann motel, then you'll stay here at glen ayr

Perfect for an overnight trip. My husband and myself went golfing in the area and wanted to find a place that we could just veg at for the night. Will definitely be going back. To be able to walk across the road and just veg on the dock was worth it.

We were looking for a stopping point along the Hood Canal and the reviews on this place were good. Places to stay were limited. We got the ocean view King room. Decent room, well kept and clean and looks like some recent reno's. Really nice view of Hood Canal from our room. Well kept grounds, all neat and tidy. And a decent rate. The one drawback to this place is it is right on the highway. Highway 101, very busy. So there is a lot of road noise. We had the room right at the front of the hotel which is about a hundred feet from the road. So if you're considering this, think of ear plugs. Some of the units further from the road might be better. Only other negative was that I could not figure out the A/C, fan controls. Not critical because it was cool overnight, but I like to run the fan to screen out noise. It wouldn't have helped in this case. If you need a phone, its isn't in your room. Not an inconvenience for us. So its a nice property, with a great view but road noise is a concern.
