"We stayed at this hotel as my husband was in Massa for business and I tagged along (yay!). The rooms are comfortable with a nice shower we also had a patio which I used quite often while my husband was at work to relax and read. The pool is very nice. This hotel has an amazing breakfast every morning with fresh fruits, breads, cheeses, meats, eggs etc. it was delicious. They also would take your order for espresso or cappuccino. They also speak English at the front desk if needed which is a plus and have parking if you have a rental car. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Hotel 250 meters from the main square and a hundred from the beach. Very uncomfortable check in at 4 pm, I find it exaggerated as a room delivery, also considering that check out is by 10 am. The garden, hall and dining room are quite modern and well-kept, but the rooms are unfortunately dirty and need maintenance, however very large. When we arrived the floor was full of sand and hair, desk, furniture and lamp with a meter of dust. The fan (full of dust) made an absurd creak that was impossible to sleep and worked for a maximum of 2 minutes then turned off by itself. On the mattress you can feel the springs on your back. In the bathroom the shelf on the sink had been removed and there was no support, in the shower a shower head that did not stay up, no support for the products or sponge that you had to put on the floor. Our room overlooked the roof so we did not have a balcony. However, a clothesline had been put in to hang clothes, but it was useless without any clothespins (we asked for them but were told there weren’t any). From one room to another you could hear everything the people next door were saying and the cleaning ladies are too noisy if someone wanted to sleep past 8:30. The hotel’s strong point, however, is the food. Breakfast with delicious cakes, various croissants, yogurt, cereals, fresh and dried fruit, a machine for hot and cold drinks, etc. You can also have a savory breakfast with bread, cold cuts, cheese and hard-boiled eggs. At dinner there is a buffet that is truly immense and varied and the dishes offered for the courses are very good. The staff is friendly. For those who come by car, there is no hotel parking, you have to find a place on the street. All in all, to spend 4 days we adapted taking into account the location, the food and the spacious room, however I strongly recommend (also considering the other reviews) to fix those few measures such as cleanliness, supports and small maintenance that would make this a highly recommended hotel."

"Fantastic surprise, it's not perfect and has some points to improve, but for being a 3 star it deserves top marks. Very clean, fresh, very good food with an excellent choice every day, very convenient location, internal parking, wifi. The owner and staff are friendly, extremely helpful and meet your needs. Especially at the table with 3 children they served us immediately and accommodated specific menu requests for our 3 children. I advise."

"4 days before arriving at this hotel my husband suffered a heart attack and had to undergo surgery the same day. I phoned the hotel to cancel but they didn’t accept my call; I had to write an email! So I did on this stressful day. The hotel replied that they were FORCED to let me pay. How cruel can you be! This is not a chain hotel and nobody is ever forced to take money 4 days before the arrival date. Another hotel we had booked in Tuscany understood the situation and cancelled 2 nights for free. Just to let you know about Hotel Villa Maremonti."
