We were disappointed by the quality of the welcome: arrived around noon or 1 p.m., we expected a snack as is done in other pensions (iced coconut or refreshing drink with biscuits or other ..etc). There was only the welcome speech with the explanations and details of the stay! Someone had to ask for a small snack so that finally a dish with watermelon was served and only one snack for the applicant!! The staff is friendly and helpful, the bungalows are decent and air-conditioned. The meals on the motu are good even if one day, the fish from the day before was once again served as a barbecue during an excursion. The dinners and breakfasts are quite ordinary ... except the last evening when there was over-abundance of dishes with pasta, rice, potatoes, fish, lobster, chicken, leg of lamb, shellfish etc... . We would have preferred this quantity and quality to be spread out over the week. The overall atmosphere was very good and the history of the island explained by the facilitators very interesting. One of the tourists wanted to buy a drink; the facilitator replied that the store was closed when there are at least two! (the guesthouse owns a store) There are two arrivals per week: for four or three nights the cost of the stay is the same!!
