The hotel is conveniently adjacent to the beach. The rooms are surprisingly quite affordable for the area. The family and I enjoyed the amazing pool that they had. Best part of this hotel is that the beach bar is located right opposite near to the beach, away from the hotel which means families can really enjoy without being worried. Food is brilliant, with them offering Sri Lankan, Italian and Western food. Staff is always friendly and very hospitable. Thank you Rumesh for everything during our stay.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 2 nights and wished we stayed longer! Room was spacious and clean with an amazing view on the high floor. We had dinner buffet at Weligama Kitchen and food was great! Breakfast served there was delicious with great variety from Western , Asian, Indian but the Sri Lankan style breakfast was the best! Tide Bar is a great place to relax and have drinks with scrumptious snack too. We spent most of our time at the resort and it was very relaxing. The environment was suitable for couples and family at the same time. Lastly, service was top notch, everyone was friendly and helpful. TK and Kalpani from Weligama kitchen always checking on us, Sachinthaka , Asanka and Dharmika from Tides always cheerful and greeting us when we head there for drinks. Would definitely return and recommend to family and friends visiting beautiful Sri Lanka!

Vviola-tianWalking to the beach 200 meters, it is convenient to not belong to the first-line sea view. The hotel is newly built, it looks very good in the vicinity, and the breakfast is also rich. I booked two orders separately. The first night showed that I could only live one person. The second night was on the first floor of the pool. I sent an email to the hotel in advance to confirm whether I could live two people. The hotel quickly replied OK. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk took the initiative to arrange as much as possible not to let us change rooms, and we could always stay in the upstairs room. In the room, I saw the peacock flying on the roof and flying high coconut trees. The small squirrel was also a frequent visitor on the coconut tree.

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay in the Sky Garden Mini Hotel. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet and great to relax in. There is also a spacious private balcony overlooking a courtyard and palm trees, as well as AC. The hotel is a stone's throw from the beach and restaurants. The owner was very friendly but discreet and breakfast was simple but tasty - a Sri Lankan omelette (or however you wanted your eggs), as well as fresh fruit and toast. The rooms are exactly as pictured, although more modern showers have since been installed. Overall this is a great choice if you're looking for somewhere cheap as a base in Mirissa.

GGuest UserIt is very close to the beach and you will cross the road. The room is clean and spacious, and the bathroom facilities are convenient and practical. There is a swimming pool in the hotel yard, it is very good to sunbathe and swim. Need to be reminded that all hotels, including the five-star hotels that later lived in Colombo, do not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers, so you need to prepare yourself. In the room view, it is very convenient to go swimming, surfing and walking at the beach. It’s great to climb the rocks in the evening to watch the sunset, watch the waves, watch the sorghum fisherman fishing, and watch the surf! Walking on the beach, many home stalls, lit candles, music is very romantic, and the price is not high. The hotel room is good, the decoration is basically over, it is estimated that there will be an elevator soon, no need to carry the luggage to climb the building. We booked half-dinner, dinner can be ordered according to the meal, there are local flavors, there are whole grilled fish, the variety of each meal is not the same; the prawns, squid, fish pieces in the seafood rice, I think it is delicious. Breakfast is also good, although the variety is not many, but the taste is good, but also enough to choose. We didn't know if we didn't eat at the hotel for lunch. Book whale watching directly at the hotel, go to Yala National Park for discounts, including hotel pick-up and drop-off, complete the project, much cheaper than some websites. The boss is very enthusiastic. The obvious feeling is that it is not profitable. The WiFi is not good. When you come up, you can call the official online customer service immediately. If you have no results, you can lend your mobile WiFi to us. Our scheduled outings also have special tips and advice. It’s especially early for two consecutive days. It’s three in the morning and six in one day. It’s all packed up for breakfast. It’s not like having a hotel in China that can’t catch up with breakfast, no matter what. At dinner, because a student group in the United States had more guests and more requests, and delayed giving us a dish, I especially expressed my regret and gave it to the local refrigerator. When paying, there are indeed problems with other friends saying that the credit card machine is slow, can't brush the US dollar, can only be converted automatically after the payment of the rupee, if the cash is enough I think they are willing to settle in US dollars, you know. It is very close to the bus station, because it is a pure self-service tour, which is very important to us. There are fruit stalls, resident supermarkets, restaurants (including Chinese restaurants) about five minutes walk. The overall feeling is good, I recommend.

Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast.
Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast.
Very nice staff.
Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned.

MMariaXThis hotel is right on the beach & has a nice swimmingpool. Location was fab, quiet part of the beach, short walk into Weligama & a short tuktukride away from Mirissa. The buildings look shabby and not well maintained but room was nice enough. It was a small chalet overlooking the pool with your own terrace. Fridge in the room including drinks for a fair price and complimentary bottle of water. Electric kettle but lack of electronic sockets, I ended up charging my phone on the terrace. Bathroom needs an update/some paint but nice shower including hot water. AC/fan/working wifi and mosquito nets. If they invest in it this place could look really good. Hotel was fairly quiet when I was there. I heard they do lots of package deals with Germans/Russians, menu was listed in German too (only time I've seen this in Sri Lanka). Food was average but OK. Lots of dogs and cats on the grounds they sleep everywhere but none of them bothered me, they must get food from the hotel. Laundry was very expensive (5k) but the room was really cheap, was referred by locals who negotiated for me. In the room next to me were drivers who got an even better price! There was a great spot for drinks/rotis on the beach a few mins away in direction of Weligama. Few surfschools just on the beach. Would stay again, good value for money but would check how busy it is. Staff was friendly, only reception did not speak English very well. Tuktuk drivers outside ask way too much, start with 50% of what they ask...

VViktoriya_051087The best location, right on the ocean shore in a place far from the track and noise. The hotel was chosen on arrival without booking. Looked very much. Stop this, given the adequate cost, location, chic view from the window and spacious rooms. Staff polite, fulfilled all our requests. Given that the service in Sri Lanka is below average, the rooms are not cleaned, only at our request, but so in almost all hotels. About the room: very large, light, with panoramic noise insulation windows, with a huge comfortable bed and balcony. Furniture is not the first freshness. The interior is ordinary. Breakfast is uniform (egg, fruit salad, fresch, toasts, tea, coffee), but you can order for a dop. fee on the menu, cook delicious but expensive compared to other cafes. We went to dinner at Peti Peti and Zefir (there is very delicious), in Popa Mango. A coconut tree hill is welcome in 2 minutes. The hotel is located on a wonderful turtle beach, waves are not big, people are small, very comfortable, comfortable with children. To the main beach of Mirissa 20 minutes walk along the beach, but there are big waves, suitable for surfers, swimming is not comfortable, we went there only in the evening in the cafe. We rested a large group of 25 people. Everyone was in different hotels. But Seastar I liked the most. If not very accurate to service and interior, I can boldly recommend it!
