RRussell OldmanThe clean room with a great view and a satisfying dinner and breakfast were worth checking several times to see how much it would cost. The clean and spacious open-air mixed-gender bath was also very satisfying. A short but neat stroll through the garden as a morning walk was a bonus, but it was too good to be true. The stone underground passageway is also a must-see.

Jjo taro古い旅館を個人客用にリニューアルした感じです。建物は古いかもしれないけど内装は綺麗です。
シングル個室はベッドだけで超狭いです。まあ寝転がって携帯見る分には問題ないですが。個室なんだけど、隣室のイビキはもちろんカバンを開ける音とか全部丸聞こえです。イヤホンがあった方が良いかもしれません。
でも、内湯もあるし立地は良いし値段を考えれば充分に満足です。

- warm and friendly staff who could not speak much English but were very nice to explain to me the details of the hotel
- gorgeous garden where you could take a seat and enjoy the view
- free Japanese alcohol at 1500-1800 (soft drinks until 2100)
- impressive free Japanese cultural performance at 2110
- quick and positive response despite I made several urgent requests due to sudden plan change
- free shuttle bus service between JR station and hotel if you approached front desk for information
- the environment of the public bath was quite clean
- totally different food combination in dinner for 2 nights
Considering the price I paid for such service, I would say the quality is definitely beyond my expectation. :) Thank you every hotel staff who made my experience a better stay!!

GGuest UserA nice hot spring hotel. There is a bar in the hotel which is open until 2400. It is refreshing to have two drinks after taking a hot spring bath.
Breakfast and dinner are buffet style, with Japanese, Western and desserts, as well as local Shimane specialties. You can also purchase additional wines, so you can try Japanese sake from different wineries in the Shimane area at once.
