The hotel is located approximately 20 minutes by foot from the train station on “the other side of the tracks”. I booked a non smoking room. It had been smoked in recently. The washroom/bathroom/toilet also had an unusual, unidentifiable odour. I kept the window open when I was there to let breathable air in. Inexpensive laundry facilities available. Breakfast was decent for the price of the accommodation .

A good value hotel on the edge of town about 10mins walk to station and main district.
Complimentary breakfast. Polite and efficient service. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds.

Good hotel, although the room is a bit small. Facilities are complete. Staffs are good. Parking is available, 800 yen per night.

I went by car, but the roads were hard to find and I got lost.
The building is old and the service was neither good nor bad.
I would come back if it was cheap, but I don't recommend it if it's expensive and you book at the last minute.

Although it is a bit far from the JR station, about a 10-minute walk, it is located in a very quiet alley. There is #鱼の华銭堂 Ruixiang Matsumotokan nearby. The hotel provides free breakfast and 3 bicycles to borrow, which meets my needs. The sun was warm in the morning. I rode a bicycle to visit Matsumoto Castle and the Matsumoto Museum and Art Gallery. It was very beautiful.
