This city hotel offers great value for money. It's budget-friendly and perfectly located, making it super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is excellent, ensuring a comfortable stay. The real highlight is the large public bath. It's spacious and the water quality is fantastic. After a day of exploring Matsumoto Castle, a soak there is incredibly relaxing and a truly wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone on a budget who also values a good onsen experience. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

I have nothing to say but it was all worth it. The location, amenities, and staff were all top-notch. I'll definitely stay here again if I get a chance to visit this charming city.

I had an unexpected overnight stay in Matsumoto and was quite pleased. The room was very clean, and I slept really well. It was quiet and comfortable – the sleep quality in this capsule room was comparable to a single hotel room. The only slight drawback was that it was a bit hard to find. The lighting wasn't great at night, and I walked around for quite a while before I found the entrance. There was no one around late at night, which made me a little uneasy – maybe I'm just a bit timid (haha). However, once inside, the facilities were excellent, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a very good experience, thumbs up!

I stayed in the single room with shared bathroom. The room is comfortable but beware that there is no door in the room, just a courtain so it’s very much like sleeping in dorms in terms of noise. They do sell earplugs in the reception. Facilities are clean. Location is great, very close to the station. Good value for price.

Great location, though the elevator entrance can be a bit tricky to find since it’s inside the bookstore. Once upstairs, the room feels cozy and offers more privacy than most backpacker hostels, making it a comfortable and quiet stay.

I love the location, it was super near the bus terminal which made it easy for day trips out of Matsumoto. I stayed in a single capsule room so there was no door just curtains as dividers but thankfully everybody was quiet and considerate so it was very peaceful. There was ample amenities in the shared toilet as well, everything felt clean.

Close to the station but meaning it’s some walking distance to the museums and the castle

I like it because the hotel has a lounge area and there are freebies. The hotel is quite close to the train station and that’s a good point too. Recommended for everyone.
