The location is excellent, right across from the bus terminal and next to the tram stop, making Matsumoto a convenient hub for travel. It's a standard Japanese business hotel. The room was a bit larger than expected, and the bathroom was also a bit more spacious, but only slightly so. Check-in is self-service at a machine, and the accommodation tax can be paid by scanning a QR code. There's a free drink machine on the first floor, which is a nice touch. Breakfast is also free-entry, and while it's just basic items like bread and rice (with curry sauce), it's enough.

I love youuu Ace Inn Matsumoto. Prime location, excellent service, decent breakfast.

location was very convenient to reach yhe matsumoto station, matsumoto bus terminal. walking distance to matsumoto castle. staffs was friendly and helpful.

The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the location is excellent, right next to Matsumoto Station. What's even better, especially if you're heading to Kamikochi, is that the bus terminal for Kamikochi is just across the street.

Just the opposite of the bus station. Very convenient for anyone travelling by bus from-to Tokyo and Kamikochi. Also super close to the train station. Room is an average Japan size but i was able to place my 29 inch luggage so all is good. However, they only provide 1 pillow in the room.

Very close to Matsumoto Station, which made getting around super convenient. However, the overall environment was just okay. The bathtub was a bit small, and the breakfast selection wasn't very wide. Also, the microwave being on a different floor was a bit inconvenient.

This is the most conveniently located hotel I've ever stayed at! It's only about 100-200 meters from Matsumoto Station, so the location is absolutely superb. The hotel feels a bit dated, but it's generally clean, and the two older male staff members at check-in and check-out were both very friendly. Breakfast is included and pretty good, with a focus on bread.

Turn right out of the station, less than 200 meters. The location is excellent, and there are many restaurants near Matsumoto JR Station, all within walking distance of the hotel. The room rate included breakfast, but strangely, there was no natto.

Good location. Near train station and bus station opposite the hotel. Convenient store and restaurant around the hotel. The room is reasonable. Breakfast start 06:30-09:30. not various breakfast but tasty. The staff is very nice.

Excellent position, next to the train station and in front of the bus station. Walking distance from downtown and all touristic attractions. The interior could benefit from some refreshments.

Good location, good ABF

The hotel located very near to Matsumoto station. The hotel service is generally good. However there are room for improvement. The room’s window I stayed could not be closed. It was cold during the night. The cloths dryers were not well maintained. Despite I loaded my cloths only about 80% full, they were all not dried. I paid the second time with a different dryer, there were still not fully dried. Breakfast is nice and simple.

The location is unbeatable! It's just 200 meters to the right after exiting the station. Remember to book your free onsen experience at Shofukan in the evening. Although Shofukan only offers one large pool, it's more than enough, especially since the hotel provides it for free. Plus, there's complimentary coffee and drinks on the first floor. The breakfast is a bit simple, but then again, it's free.

Within a few minutes walk from the station. Convenient with JR, bus terminal, shopping and dining choices available just next to one another. Free breakfast and drink bar available for hotel guests.
