Shirafune Grand Hotel Reviews

Nice hotel and onsen, conveniently located about a 10 minute drive away from the Sawando bus terminal (where you can catch a 30 minute bus ride to Kamikochi). The hotel, the room and the bathing areas were clean and relaxing.  The room was also spacious and had a wonderful view.   The staff was professional, courteous, and polite. The food was fantastic and it seemed like the dishes would not stop coming during dinner!

It is an aged onsen hotel, facilities are old but staff carry good hospitality

Although it is hard to get to Shirahone Onsen, I absolutely enjoyed staying at Shirafune Grand Hotel. Very cozy and excellent for quiet relaxation

The service is 5 star! 🥹 All the waiters were very polite and helpful! When staying mostly Japanese, there are 80%, followed by a small number of foreign tourists 😆 but many are older grandparents, uncles and aunts ~ The location is a bit in, there is no convenience store nearby, it is recommended to eat supper must be halfway to buy first! There will be no convenience stores once you start going up the hill! The hot spring is really authentic, after soaking I really feel less tired and my skin is better 🤣 not kidding, it's really better! !

The room was small but clean. I bought a one night stay with two meals package and it was okay overall.

Old hotel. But it's very clean and the service is very good. In Japan today, it can be regarded as a secret hot spring that is relatively easy to access. Worth a visit.

The hotel is large, the rooms are warm, the food is good, and there is a shuttle bus to the bus station.

The room is relatively small but has everything. first rate service. The food was great, the same for both days. From Bones to Pingtang, I asked the lady at the front desk to make an appointment for a rental, which was extremely smooth. I miss this deep secret place.

After traveling from Kamikochi, take a bus and change buses at Zedu (k20). After getting off the bus at Baigu Hot Spring, you will find the hotel. An old man will ask you about the hotel you booked, and then call the hotel. There will be a car to pick you up from the hotel (although it is not far, it is all uphill). The service attitude was very good. I met a Hong Kong man at the front desk who was very patient in helping us plan our itinerary for the next day. The hot spring has an open air.
