Our stay at this Setouchi resort was defined by nice views. The highlights were the vibrant, magical sunrises and sunsets. The private balcony, with its wooden deck and distinctive blue railing provided a wonderful, peaceful spot to unwind right above the ocean.
However, for such a spacious room, the amenities fell a bit short. The room only came equipped with a small chiller. Given that we booked a large room with loft, the resort really should provide a proper, full-sized fridge.
If you are looking for incredible scenery and a serene atmosphere, this resort is still highly recommended though.

My stay there with my dog was rather pleasant. There was a beach in front of it, not so wide but still you could walk down and play with your pet no problem. Staffs were very kind and helped with all the inquiries. Just hope they have their own playground for pet with a fence somewhere in the hotel property. That would make this hotel top notch. Also there were no shuttles to Dogo onsen or Gongen onsen. That issue should be handled and resolved. I has stayed there for 10 days and wow! It was great!

The staff was helpful and very nice.
The room was spotless, quiet, with a lot of space and a relaxing view of the ocean.
When we return to this area, we will definitely stay here again.

Since it was during an off-peak season, we were able to relax in a spacious room with an ocean view. We could also take walks around the neighborhood, and it was a short drive to Dogo Onsen by rental car, making it a great location for taking longer trips.

Overall, the hotel was clean, the view was great, and the front desk staff were very kind. The location was convenient for visiting Matsuyama Tourist Port the next day. The coin laundry was also a great help.
My only complaint is that the drain above the sink was quite dirty and reflected in the mirror, which was a bit bothersome. If that area had been cleaned, my stay would have been even more pleasant.

The hotel had a clean and pleasant atmosphere with a white-based interior. At check-in, I was offered tickets to a nearby hot spring facility, but I decided to use the bath in my room.
The bathtub was deep, and the bathroom itself was incredibly spacious—unlike anything I've seen in other hotels—allowing me to relax completely.
The room was also spacious and comfortable!
At check-out, the wind was strong, and the front desk staff kindly warned me to be careful of the wind, which was a wonderful touch.

There is absolutely nothing around except the actual sea. The room is clean and spacious. It's great if you just want to relax by the sea for one night, but I wouldn't recommend it without a rental car.
