ANA Crowne Plaza MATSUYAMA by IHG

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, making my commute and errands incredibly convenient. The room was clean and well-organized, with a spacious work area and smooth internet, allowing me to work without any hiccups. The bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm – perfect for a good night's rest after a long day. The hotel maintains high hygiene standards; both public areas and guest rooms were spotless. The front desk and room service staff were professional and attentive, promptly resolving any issues. Breakfast offered a well-balanced and nutritious spread, great for a quick energy boost. All facilities were new and well-maintained, with thoughtful details catering to business travelers. The price was also very reasonable. Overall, it was an outstanding experience and a top-notch choice for business travel. Highly recommended!

For a weekend stay, finding a hotel for just over 300 yuan is pretty good. The overall experience is similar to a Toyoko Inn – perfectly adequate, nothing special, nothing bad.

I'm not too familiar with hotel classifications in Japan, but it felt about the same size as a typical business hotel in Tokyo (meaning quite small), which was a bit surprising. There's no club lounge, and the listed sky lounge is an additional charge. The one in Hiroshima seems to have one though.
