Amazing accommodation nearby key tourist sites and shopping areas in Matsuyama. It’s a 5-minute walk to the Okaido shotengai and 10 minutes to the ropeway/cable car station for Matsuyama Castle. Dogo Onsen is a 15-20 minute tram ride away. The rooms are clean, well-kept, and decently sized (by Japanese standards). The staff are courteous and professional. The breakfast is fantastic with many different options.

The hotel counter is very friendly. The croissants for breakfast are delicious.. They have a hidden delicacy~~ French toast. It is posted on the wall. But we who don't understand Japanese didn't notice it.. You can order directly from the waiter. The hot French toast will be served in about three minutes. If you are staying in a hotel and breakfast is not included, you can buy breakfast for 500 yen. I think it is very cost-effective. Bicycles can also be borrowed for free, but the condition of the bicycles is quite ordinary. It is very convenient when going to a nearby supermarket for shopping.

I stayed alone for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The curry was especially delicious. It was also convenient to move around Okaido Street, which is about 600 meters away.

It's a great hotel with the best value for money. It's in the middle of an entertainment district, so it's a bit noisy at night, but that's it. Breakfast was good, and there are no bicycle rentals, so you can rent one from a nearby private bicycle rental shop. I rented one at the Monkey Bicycle Parking Lot near the Okaido entrance for 300 yen per day. I heard that the price will increase to 500 yen starting April 1st. I rented one for 3 days and rode around leisurely.

The bed size is just right and the room is large, so it was good for leaving luggage and moving around. The view is good.

It was good. The breakfast was great and it was a good value hotel. There were Korean staff who spoke Korean well. There were two double head beds, the sheets were clean, and the air wasn't cold, but strangely, when I woke up, it wasn't warm and I felt cold (it's not cold at all because there's an air conditioner). There was a cold air in the bed that was hard to describe. There was a long table under the mirror, and under the table was a small refrigerator and a chair, and next to it was a clothes hanger bar that was about 70 cm long, and there were two one-piece dresses hanging on it. The bathroom was so small that I couldn't even wash, so I had to wash my face in the shower. It was a super mini bathroom. What do you expect for 500 yen for breakfast? If you say so, I'll be satisfied, but if you don't mind not having curry rice with salad, I recommend a brunch cafe. It's a simple breakfast served on an iron plate at a snack shop table. You can also request breakfast when you check in.

I didn't get a non-smoking room, so I had to book a smoking room. The room smelled of cigarettes, but when I stayed there the next day, there was no smell anymore. Only the towels had a smell. The twin room is spacious enough to open two large suitcases without affecting the flow of movement. The front desk staff can speak English, so communication is no problem. Drinks and coffee are also available on the 2nd floor, which is very good. There are many supplies at the front desk, which are available for you to use freely. The location is very good, there are many restaurants and pubs nearby, and it is very close to the main street, so it is very convenient to eat. It is just far from Songshan Station.

I was traveling after work, so I was late checking in. The staff member was alone at the time, so I was busy operating the parking garage and checking in, but he was kind and helpful with a smile. The only thing that is a little disappointing is that the faucet in the bathroom sink is a separate hot/cold water faucet that seems to have been used in the past, so it is annoying to adjust the water temperature.
