We booked a three night stay at the last minute and enjoyed a wonderful break at No 4 Stow. All the staff we came into contact with from reception, bar and restaurant, housekeeping were professional, friendly and helpful. We had an executive room for two nights which was spacious, nicely appointed with large, high quality shower room. Third night we had to move into cottage room which was handled without fuss and equally well furnished. Special thanks to Stacey who took our booking and ensured our stay ‘ticked over’ smoothly. Restaurant both for breakfast and dinner deserves every praise. Exceptional food and service. Full English Breakfast uses good ingredients which are properly cooked: including mushrooms, sausage and bacon - not always the case elsewhere. Eggs Florentine and Royale were spot on - perfect rich runny yolk and soft muffin with light hollandaise sauce. Dinner menu was equally impressive in range of dishes, quality of cooking and presentation. Stand out meals for us were Fresh Cornish Crab Ravioli Sesame Slaw, Pickled Ginger, Tom Yum Broth + Pan Fried Cornish Cod Chorizo Picante & Sweet Corn Risotto, Salt Cod Croquette, Braised Leek. Highly recommended.
