An amazing hotel right on the water with every room facing the water. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Beautiful big rooms with lovely balconies. The dinner and breakfast were also really good, with a great variety and a lovely outdoor area to sit at. I do however think the cleaning staff need to take a bit more care when cleaning. We were there for 6 nights and 3 of the nights we had to phone housekeeping because we did not have towels, or we did not get toilet paper, or we did not get our bath robes… and then housekeeping took at least 20-30minutes to bring the items. The other thing was that they put a single duvet into a double duvet - so when you are sleeping there are many times when you only have a sheet and no duvet. Maybe change that. Otherwise I really can’t complain about anything. There are plenty of beach chairs and there were always chairs available and it was an amazing and relaxing place.

The cleaning lady who was on holiday stole three hundred dollars from me. The quality of the staff at this InterContinental Hotel is really too low.

Overall, it is a standard 5-star hotel, but the facilities are a bit old. The main problem is the air conditioning. The temperature control is very poor, either it is very cold or it has to be turned off; the location of the air outlet causes the cool wind to blow right on the head, which is simply fatal to sleep all night. For Chinese people, this makes people very uncomfortable. There are no other problems.

A lightning-proof review. I stayed in several similar hotels in Maoqiu. The decoration of the guest rooms is much older than similar hotels. It is difficult to take pictures of the sunset in the promotional photos. The restaurant hygiene is extremely poor. I only ate in the hotel. I had diarrhea for two days. The waiters' attitudes were also very bad. They had stern faces. I asked three times for the room number for breakfast. The swimming pool was very dirty and full of people. The public area was crowded with Indians. Later I learned that the investor of this hotel is Indian. I realized that the diarrhea was not in vain. The management is too poor.

The price/performance ratio is very high. The room is of suitable size and warm. The view outside the window is great. The breakfast is very rich. The swimming pool has a good view and is divided into several pools. It is not noisy and you can choose the one you like. The coast is embedded in the hotel garden. You can go directly to the sea after breakfast! Overall it is great~

A very satisfactory hotel, the coastline is beautiful, you can snorkel and swim in the hotel, the water is really jelly sea, it's great, but the food is expensive, mainly Western food, Chinese people can't get used to it

Overall, it is a very good hotel. The suite has 2 single beds and 1 double bed. It is no problem for a family of four, and there is no additional charge for 2 children under 16 years old in this room type, including breakfast, but breakfast is not included. It's too suitable for East Asian tastes. Dinner is a little better, just a little bit. We lost a child's schoolbag at the airport in Mauritius, and there were valuables inside. We thought we couldn't find it, but the Intercontinental front desk guy helped us contact the airport police station, and the schoolbag was recovered, which was very NICE. It was a bit unpleasant to check out later. More than a thousand euros were deducted from me. After negotiation, it was refunded to my account after returning to China. Overall, it was perfect. Ctrip officials were also very helpful!

Africa is very inefficient. If you are going on vacation, it is recommended to choose a resort hotel in the south of the island. The sea water quality here is much worse than in the south.

Wifi and breakfast was very poor.Room service was very poor.Location from city centre is far away and in an isolated area. Think twice before booking. Room service people didn't respond properly, veda restaurant lady manager's behaviour was rude.

We had an amazing time at the resort. Beautiful landscape, amenities and staff! We had an initial glitch. The General manager, Mr.Nicolas helped sort things out for us and made it a truly memorable stay. Pool is so clean and beautiful to hang out with the bar right beside. Beach is accessible and very clean. All water activities are free and very nicely done. We took a half day boat on our own charge and was an amazing dolphin watching experience. Special mention to catering staff and manager Reshma, Jayvanti, Renouka. They were so hospitable and kind!
