A quiet and peaceful location, good clean beaches, and the staff were helpful and thorough.  Enjoyed the perfect holiday

Close to the sea and the Tek Tek restaurant was great. If you're visiting the east of the island, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is located in an area where there's nothing but beaches and other hotels. Restaurants and island attractions are quite a distance away. The winds pick up in the evenings. Swimming near the hotel is practically impossible due to rocks, especially when the tide goes out in the evening. The hotel itself is designed in an old African style, with a somewhat dull interior and exterior. A 'partial sea view' room actually offers a view of the restaurant's roof. The photos are outdated and don't reflect reality. The rooms have artificial flooring, which contributes to an overall cheap impression. The room decor is uninspiring and dated. The toilet is an add-on with a flimsy door. The shower has no enclosure, so water gets everywhere, which probably contributes to the floor swelling, as seen in the photos. There's no fridge in the room, which makes sense since there are no shops nearby anyway. If you don't have a car, there's really nothing to do here besides sunbathe on the beach. You'd get bored at the hotel after 2-3 days. Breakfasts are good and tasty, with an à la carte menu like in a restaurant. Be careful when checking out, as they might try to charge you a service fee – don't pay it. Overall, the hotel isn't worth the money. It's boring and old.

It felt quite remote, but having a rental car made it easy to get around. Ananda was so helpful and gave us the best tips for excursions and Indian shopping. A special thanks to Sanjo and Roshan for taking us out on the sea to capture some great photos of the hotel – such a lovely way to create memories! The food was great, but a little pricey.

My husband and I spent a wonderful few days at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, and so is the beach! The breakfasts and dinners were delicious!

The hotel was quite expensive, but good. Except single employee a perfect service with high awareness. Great sea view room. Breakfast is a la cart, fresh meals with two choices pick from various options. Snorkling and glass boat each once a day, other water activities while day 9am - 4pm. Also, hotel not too big. Restaurants (except hotel restaurant) a little far with 10 minutes driving to next town.

The only advantage I liked about it is that it's small, and that's what I liked about it. It's quiet, and the food is excellent.

Very disappointing stay. The rooms were dirty, small, and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were tiny, and there were no basic amenities like a fridge. The all-inclusive offer was misleading - very limited food and drink options, and some things that were supposed to be included were either unavailable or charged extra. The hotel staff in blue shirts were unhelpful, pushy, and often acted like they knew better than the guests what they needed. The reception was barely present and difficult to get any assistance from. Overall, the treatment of guests was strange and unprofessional. What's most unfortunate is that the hotel clearly has potential due to its location or layout - but it is completely wasted due to poor management and service. I do not recommend this hotel.

Amazing stay at Salt of Palmar!!! Boutique, 16+ Hotel located on the east side of the island, on the first line. Great beach with amazing sunrises. Lots of sea activities are included with your stay. Quiet, spacious rooms. Great spa. Curated menu in the restaurant and opportunity to book a special dinner with a chef. Great wine and international cocktail selection. Professionaly trained staff and the management team lead by Mr. Med will make you stay exceptional
