The hotel is located within a national park, and the final road leading to it requires some good driving skills—it's not an easy drive. It can be a bit inconvenient if you plan on going out every day. This hotel is more suitable for guests who want to mostly stay on-site. 3. The hotel's Wi-Fi is mediocre, with slow and unstable speeds. 4. Breakfast starts quite late at 8:30 AM, which means those planning early day trips won't be able to eat before heading out.

It’s a little adventurous to get here (only possible with own car or their van on request). But the views from their restaurant and rooms are extremely stunning!!!! The service is a bit slow and if there is something or you need something you have to call the reception with your own phone. Also, wifi connectivity can vary depending on the weather up there. Be aware, no kids allowed and the terrain is difficult for people who have difficulty with walking. At the end of the day you come here for the paradise view, which is just mesmerizing!

The hotel is located in a very picturesque location – Chamarel National Park. Stunning views, tranquility, and birdsong are abound. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the staff is friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious. Parking is available both at the chalet and near reception, with space for several cars. The only drawback is the long climb up the hill to the hotel, about 30 minutes.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Lots of wildlife, nature and wonderful views. Easily walkable to the seven coloured earth and you can watch the sky and sea change colour for hours. Wonderful service from helpful and friendly staff.

Definitly the best restaurant and resort of Mauritius. The view is amazing and the dinner really worth it. All the waiters are doing their best to serve you on time and welcome you.

We had an amazing stay at Chalets Chamarel. The location, surrounded by lush nature and mountains, is absolutely breathtaking. Our chalet was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. The team was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the breakfast and dinner was excellent. All clean, no noise, and good value for money. A truly special and peaceful place in Mauritius. We would come back anytime and highly recommend it!
