Coral Azur Beach Resort, 3 Star

Excellent hotel right on the beachfront; it felt like a family-run establishment. The rooms were clean and modern, with daily housekeeping and an amazing view. The breakfasts were superb, and there was an evening entertainment program. Everything was of a good standard. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The resort is very pleasant, and the staff are very kind. The entertainment and food are good. The rooms are spacious, and there are many activities even within the resort, including a gym.

Excellent hotel with entertainment and its own water sports equipment. The cuisine is magnificent, with themed dinners and delicious food. But the highlight is definitely the evening shows, where we danced our hearts out. The owner and his manager, Jennifer Lopez, led the shows themselves; they sang beautifully and made for a fantastic evening. They also chat with all the guests every morning and evening. The only minor downside is the lack of irons, but you can use the laundry service for a fee. I highly recommend this hotel!

A very decent hotel (a solid four-star). Good daily cleaning, a 1.5L bottle of water in the room, and essential toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, soap, slippers). A special thanks for the lovely welcome gift: a bottle of sparkling wine, a woven basket for the beach or a picnic, a hotel logo T-shirt (men's), and a very beautiful sarong. Excellent staff. Huge thanks to Francesco (who speaks fluent Russian) for organizing the birthday celebration. A very pleasant surprise was the free upgrade to a full-board meal plan (we had initially chosen half-board). This was likely due to the pool renovation. Mid-vacation, there was a grand opening for the pool with a cocktail party. There's no direct sandy access to the sea from the hotel, but two beaches are quite close: Trou-aux-Biches to the left (developed, with sun loungers – didn't use them so don't know the cost – and decent snorkeling), and Mont Choisy to the right ('wild'). If you walk a bit further down, there are also sun loungers. Both are about a 10-minute walk. There's also good sea access immediately on both sides of the hotel property: a sandy entry to the left (right after the à la carte restaurant) and concrete slabs to the right (they say there are stonefish somewhere to the left in the rocks, several of them – we didn't encounter any, but aqua shoes are recommended, and generally useful everywhere). As for cons, there was a sewage smell in the bathroom.

Great location, friendly staff, right on the oceanfront. No beach directly in front of the hotel, but it's just a short walk away!

Excellent hotel, perfectly located near one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. The value for money is superb, with a wide variety of good quality food. The welcome is warm and family-like, which makes the stay even more pleasant. We highly recommend this place for a wonderful holiday in Mauritius.
