"Glass windows at the top of the doors which provided zero privacy in respect of noise. Being woken by a couple across the hallway screaming “I’m going to squirt” was not what we expected, nor easy to explain to our 8 year old son. Bathroom was provided with only two towels, when we asked for a third the housekeeping refused. Bath had no attachment to hold the shower head and was missing tiles. We requested an iron only after six calls did it arrive by a male staff member insisting to enter our room and then stating “you have this for ten minutes then I’m back to take it” Breakfast was too heavily policed, more so when several of us staying were dignitaries for a state event nearby. Evening staff in the main block restaurant spent more time chatting than serving. Very disappointing stay"

"Nothing but good things to stay! The owner, Davis, found me accommodations quickly when I was in a jam. The hotel staff are very kind and trustworthy. The food at the restaurant is great, but it does take them time to cook, so don’t expect a quick meal. The food is worth the wait and fair prices compared to other hotels. I stayed for a month at this hotel and would stay again! Highly recommend. It is a nice quite area compared to most of the other hotels in the city it Mbarara"

"I’m traveling from the U.S. Nim has a nice location away from the noise of night life in the city of Mbarara which I had problems w before. Nice setting, nice views, nice clean rooms. Staff is exceptional and very attentive to your needs. Food was also good. I’m here for a week and see no cons yet. Also reasonable price. Thumbs up."

American travelers should note that the rooms do not have air conditioning. However, the climate here is surprisingly mild, and temperatures cool down noticeably at night. Electric fans are available upon request from the front desk, and the windows are fitted with effective screens to keep insects out. Laundry service is also available for a small fee. Above all, it is clear that the staff genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and making guests feel welcome. I would not hesitate to stay here again!"
