Hotel Riu Baobab - All Inclusive
"Terrible welcome, given the price, I expected better"
Bine Bassile
Villa Petit Paradis Boutique Hôtel
"I would recommend this villa for anyone looking to host family or friends within a private setting. The villa boast beautiful ambient setting with a Communal pool and a chef on site who is readily happy to cater for your food. I particularly stayed in the Suit Paradis which has its own private pool and can accommodate up to 4 guest if you book the connecting room 7. Ousman was a great host who also took the liberty to pick us up at the airport and not to mention the staff who worked extremely hard with a smile on their faces. Antoine was also a fantastic city guide who never says no to our demands during the day and even for a memorable night life."
Keur Marrakis
"The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. But it is quiet and very pleasant with its long chairs."
La Villa Serere
"This is a pleasant homestay kind of place with comfortable rooms. There is a swimming pool and great birding from the grounds as well as around. Food is a problem if you are a vegetarian with limited choice. The helpful caretaker tried his best to meet our food requirements. "
Kawga Hôtel
Baobab Soleil
"This hotel is tricky to find, the best is to have the telephone number with you. The place is really nice with baobab trees, good WiFi in the common area. Big rooms with comfortable beds."
Blue Africa
"The worst hotel experience ever. Has bedbugs, my arms are red with sores. Personel was never helpful, we were told couple of time that "they are on break". Hated it and was happy to leave and not back "

Mövenpick Resort Lamantin Saly
"excellent holiday. good food, relaxed vibe, perfect weather, excellent spa interesting trips and friendly hotel staff. will definitely be back"
Hotel Royam
"This hotel is next to the beach. It has a nice swimming pool. It also has places for sunbathing on the beach as well as a bar on the beach. The food is very good. The room is spacious enough, although the wifi was sketchy in the room. Staff are helpful and speak English. The area has many trees and is well maintained. Shower was good with hot water and good pressure."
The Rhino Resort Hotel & Spa
"Given some of the marginal places I stayed on my pass through Senegal, this place was probably the nicest. I was probably not the target customer as I didn't use them as an all inclusive and clearly that is the intention. The property is a bit of a walk from humble downtown Saly, but otherwise this place has charm and character all over the place. The bathroom was particularly generous and the bed nice and comfy. It was quite a hike to get out of my room and back on the street though, because the grounds are quite large. If you like service though, this is surely the place you want to stay in Saly."
Le Saly Hotel & Hotel Club Filaos - All Inclusive
"The rooms were simple and comfortable and the food was decent. However, the service was not great. The receptionists either ignored you while speaking to other people, could not make a simple decision (and had to wait for the manager), or even gave an attitude. I hosted an event there, and not once was I asked how it was going. When I mentioned that the conference room was very hot, and asked for more water, they could not even propose solutions (like an extra bottle of water, even if there is a cost). I found the reception staff to be tedious. The restaurant staff and others were nice. I would NOT rate this 4 star."
Neptune
"We are a ‘young’couple in our early 60’s and we booked our stay via RCI. We were allowed to check in a bit earlier however our apartment wasn’t ready. We had to ask for the kitchen door to be unlocked but when it was, there was no equipment in it! Even when it was finally stocked up there was No Kettle,no Washing up liquid,no dish cloth to wipe the surfaces. We had to ask for a bin liner on our first day and then when the bin was emptied it was never replaced. We also had to ask for a scouring pad, Ice tray and oven gloves (but they were useless) There was No Sharp knife! We had to prepare our meals using a bread knife! Have you ever tried to peel a kiwi with a bread knife? There was also No Grater, No Garlic press, No Wine glasses (only 4 small tumblers) , No wooden spoon. We had to ask 4 times for someone to fix the oven. The unit definitely wasn’t set up for self catering. The unit was very shabby, and not well maintained and was definitely not up to the standard that we expect from RCI. The kitchen badly needs refurbishing. There was no carbon monoxide monitor and yet we were cooking on gas. No smoke alarm and the fire extinguisher was outside! We were unlucky with our unit (no 1) as it was right by the reception and had people constantly walking by. The outside space wasn’t at all private. We could constantly hear the staff in reception shouting at each other all day long. There were also no mosquito nets. The biggest problem though was that Neptune is not on the beach! The RCI information states that the beach is on site which is very misleading and should be removed. You actually have to walk through a car park and a taxi rank then 100m down a path! The Gardens were beautiful and well maintained. "
Royal Horizon Baobab
"Very quiet"
Hôtel les Bougainvillées Saly Sénégal
"After a release from the hotel, our flight is postponed, we are given a new room, a horrible, dirty sanitary (urine), dirty sheets, broken night light, cobwebs all over the place, atrocious reception staff (Agnès) not to mention her. Dining room manager who speaks to you with disdain, the hotel is no longer what it used to be, discussions with regulars who are saturated and confirm the general deterioration"
Campement Baobab
"Disappointing. The place is very basic. The campsite is very cramped. It looks out onto a wall. All the guests, workers, and the owner walk past. No privacy. The "restaurant" turned out to be more of a communal open-plan living room. We were there for Christmas and had hoped for something to eat and perhaps even some socializing, but there was absolutely nothing to do. Above all, we found it to be a bizarrely low price-quality ratio. For the same price, you can get much more space, both inside and out, and a view closer to Popenguine beach. In other words: I definitely do not recommend this campsite."
