Your Get away in a Modern Creekside Cottage Directly on Pine Creek & Rail Trail

We have stayed in the home multiple times! We will continue to rent this home as it has everything you need. Kitchen is very well equipped, beds are comfy and it is always very clean. The fire pit on the creek is the most relaxing thing! You will not be disappointed with this rental.

For this property location was everything. It was quiet and beautiful and one of the best spots along Little Pine Creek for late August. Most places the water was very low. This cottage sets on the bank and the creek was still reasonable deep and wide. Also the bike trail was just behind the cottage and very easy to access. Very pricey but we booked a weekend last minute. Finding the key and using the code to unlock when we arrived was a bit tricky.

There were cobwebs in the shower and all over the decks, grill, folding chairs for use at fireplace. All of the outside seating was broken and unusable except for one lounger. There were flies inside the house that seemed to be coming up through the vents, not coming inside through open door. When we first arrived we counted about 40 flies that we either swatted or got outside. The stove top did not work and the kitchen sink handle fell off and we couldnt change the temperature but could turn it on and off. 2 of the 4 kayaks were locked and the prop. Manager told me after that the lock was there for show and they could ve accessed but we couldnt get the for-show lock open or unwound. The cabin was really beautiful and had all of the amenities listed. The location was great, right on the creek, and the creek was a pleasure to play in. We did cut our trip in half, though, due to the things mentioned above.and we were refunded for those nights we didnt stay

Great natural setting, lots of wild life and tons of green landscape. Very peaceful, the creek was clear, gentle but rocky. The kitchen was recently updated with a cool cement counter, and modern backsplash. The bath shower is very new too! The rest is decorated with rustic touches and very homey.What I wish I knew before going: There is NO cell service in the region. All of the businesses use WiFi, and the house has Wi-Fi, but you will have no cell service between destinations. There are biting black flies and Off does not work. Bring Skin So Soft! Also, bring some Off Backyard spray. Buy all of your paper products and bring them with (Towels, toilet paper, tissues, napkins, plates, etc.)
