Hotel Kievari
"I went to this hotel just to eat once, and my parents slept in this hotel. I would say that this hotel is really good. The people working here are really helpful, friendly and even at the moment that the kitchen staff is about to call it the day, they still wanted to make us pizza! The pizza was really good. Also, the rooms, I've seen them. They are good enough, not too small and not too big. There is an option for everyday cleaning as well, if you hang up the sign on the door. There's also a nightclub and bar here, and sometimes they do events like a karaoke night. Real fun that they offer these kind of things!"
Kaamos Lodge
"The lodge is stunningly situated on top of a mountain with breathtaking views over the valley. We were lucky to have a cabin right at the edge, so we could enjoy that view every day. The cabins are nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need. However, space felt a bit tight in winter, especially storage for thick thermal clothing and suitcases.A major downside was the private sauna in the cabin. For us and other guests, it never got hotter than about 50°C, no matter how high you set it or how much water you poured on. It felt more like a warm hut than a real sauna. The lodge's main sauna, on the other hand, is beautiful and pleasant, but €110 for two hours is quite pricey. The food is good, especially dinner. It would be great if a standard side like fries or potatoes was served; now everyone grabs extra bread to feel full. Lunch could use more variety or portions, and staff should keep a better eye on refilling. A good floor manager to oversee things would make a big difference. We booked via Nordic; everything was well organized, and it's a great base for activities. Final tip: mark out some walking or biking routes, or signpost them, so you know where to go on your free day."
Koivulahden Reinola
"The landlords and owners Fam: Matti and Ulla Maija were very nice Finns and the house was very well located: Price Performance very good. We would love to come back in the summer"
