We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at the G George! The Staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming, a big thank you to Caroline, Dunja and Joanna for their helpful tips and guidance about the resort. We could not fault our ground floor room, it was clean, spacious, excellent faciities refreshed every day by the maids. The pool was very clean and plenty of sun beds with or without shade. The bar was well stocked and had plenty of comfortable seating prices were similar to the rest of the resort. The breakfasts were amazing, plenty of choice and something different added every day. Great snacks available at the bar and evening meals were of a very high standard and great value. The location was perfect, nice and peaceful and only a five minute stroll to the resort centre and a ten minute walk to the local bus stop and coach drop off/pickup point. We recomend this hotel if you are staying in Nidri! Thank you all for a wonderful stay! Dave & Jayne. Yammas!

First time at g George and everyone made us welcome Great position just a few minutes walk to the main ***** Lots of bars and restaurants close by Nydri is quite flat so walking is easy Main ***** is pedestrianised in the evening We had one evening meal at the g George that was very good, it’s a shame more people didn’t try it as we were one of two couples

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. The staff is very friendly. The room is spacious, but the shower in the bathroom is tiny—barely enough space to move. For the first two days after checking in, we didn’t have any shower gel in the bathroom. The air conditioning is very old and makes a loud noise, which is uncomfortable if you keep it on at night. Doors from other rooms were slammed shut at night, causing loud echoes throughout the building. Breakfast was quite limited

What a wonderful hotel. We booked a 10 night holiday with Jet2 and couldn't have been happier. Lovely clean room, in a quiet location but within a very short walk of the centre of Nidri and the beach/harbour. Staff very friendly, breakfast was lovely with ample choice. Pool area was very relaxed and ideal for us. Loved watching the swallows flying around during the daytime. We would highly recommend and definitely consider going back to this lovely hotel.

Good clean hotel in central position just a couple of hundred metres from the main street yet in quiet surroundings. Good breakfast with plenty of choices of Greek / Continental offerings and a good sized pool with plenty of sunbathing provision. The room was adequately sized with shower, enough wardrobe space for two and a reasonably comfortable bed. The eating options at the pool bar i felt was more suited to evening dining rather than lunchtime snacks with prices for drinks on the high side except for beer which was the same as in resort. A charge of 9 euros per night was made for the air conditioning which i have never encountered before other than in apartments in Greece?

Great hotel, friendly staff! We had a lovely week stay here. Good breakfast, we didn’t have food of an evening in the restaurant but we didn’t utilise the snack menu when we had pool days and it was very nice. Great location in Nydri, a good base for exploring the island. Only downside was paying for A/C (never had to do this at a hotel before) & although I understand to some extent when it comes to food and other beverages but not being able to drink your own water by the pool unless you brought it from the hotel bar seemed a little unfair.
