Das Hotel Sherlock Holmes
"+ The location is good and the beds were comfortable. - The bathroom had mold, and the pillowcases were stained. BUT the worst of all was the dinner we booked! If you value your life, don't bother. Half of it went back uneaten. Frozen food, extremely poor quality, and at a hefty price. Our criticism was completely ignored. In fact, we were accused of lying. It doesn't make it any better that they spoke absolutely no German and only broken English. If I could, I'd give them negative stars!"
Victoria - Alpine Boutique Hotel & Fine Dining
"A truly wonderful experience. The hotel was very comfortable and stylish. I slept very well and enjoyed the nice touches, such as the fruit in the room and the cake in the afternoon. Dinner in the restaurant was so good that we decided to dine there for both the evenings! The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent for hiking adventures in the mountains. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to return."
Parkhotel du Sauvage
"The minibar offered is really awesome. Also, I like the Sherlock Holmes vibe so much! Yet, no air-conditioning is a big problem when it's 36 degree Celsius!"
Hotel Dakota
"Very warm welcome. The hotel corresponds to the description and pictures. Beautiful, clean room and bathroom. A large and comfortable bed and the requested ergonomic extra pillow was also there. For my dog, there was a dog bed, water bowl, and a welcome treat. And there was even an extra door tag that there was a dog in the room. Very convenient if you want to leave the dog in the room for a short time. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection from scrambled eggs and bacon to cold cuts, salmon and various cheeses, fresh fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice, just to name a few, because there was so much more. I would especially like to mention the exceptionally attentive staff at breakfast who, after telling them my room number, presented me with a variety of choices of lactose-free and plant-based milk and yogurt - a preference I could also choose before arrival. Overall, an exceptional stay and highly recommended!"

"Fantastic apartment! Everything new and clean. Perfectly equipped. Owners are very kind and willing to help. I recommend with all my heart! I'll definitely return there."
Hotel Meiringen
"Modern hotel with large living area and bathroom. Hotel is central to town and just a couple of minutes walk from the railway station. Room is equipped with TV, pedestal fan and small table and chairs. Very comfortable bedding - with bedside reading lamps. Some traffic noise but with double grazed windows it's not too bad. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed two nights at half board. Good breakfast and evening meals available. Easy walking to view the town and local area highlights. Two supermarkets within a five minute walk. "
