A beautiful quiet chateau nestled in the woods on the edge of a tranquil lake. The room we stayed in was a delightfully converted stable with a vaulted ceiling and an old stone pillar in the centre of the room. It was charming. The breakfast was generous with a particularly fine pain du chocolat. The staff could not be more helpful. However, there is nothing charming in an open plan bathroom and toilet with glass walls. I have no idea why this is thought to be a good idea. Without this design feature the hotel would comfortably been rated five stars.

What an amazing place !, newly finished to a high spec but so tastefully done to keep character, was so much more than expected. Great hosts and attention to detail, would thoroughly recommend, lovely room and parking , great value for money

Simply the nicest place I've been! Not only bc of the castle itself but mostly bc of the people there! A jewel in Belgium that one MUST VISIT and sleep in a medieval castle! Just wonderful!!! Of course there is all that people want in Belgium: good beer, hospitality, great landscapes, a lake...

Belle découverte. La demoiselle à l accueil était très souriante et très accueillante. Très bon petit déjeuner. On ne sait pas manger le soir mais Restaurant gastronomique deux minutes à pied. Magnifique promenade à faire autour du lac. Nous reviendrons dans ce beau château pour un retour dans le passé de nos ancêtres. Petit bemol, un éclairage la nuit dehors quand on sort du château.
