The hotel is old and dimly lit, with low ceilings, and the room felt smaller than advertised. On the bright side, nothing was broken. We booked it last minute for Chinese New Year, and the price increase wasn't too outrageous. If this were the regular price, I'd have no complaints – the price truly excuses everything. The breakfast buffet was quite mediocre, but the revolving restaurant with its city views was excellent, and honestly, that's why we booked this place. Parking in the garage was a bit tricky, but the management was good, with staff helping direct cars. The lobby staff were also pleasant.

I chose the Hilton Garden Inn for my trip to Meizhou this time, and it exceeded my expectations. First, the location is very convenient; Wanda Plaza is right next door, and Ketianxia Scenic Area isn't far, so getting a taxi is easy.
The room was more spacious than I imagined, with the typical fresh and minimalist Hampton style. The bedding was very comfortable, and I slept soundly until morning. The most pleasant surprise was the cleanliness; as a clean freak, I was very satisfied – every corner was spotless.
Breakfast deserves high praise! The freshly made pickled noodles and Sanjidicai soup were very authentic, and being able to enjoy Hakka specialties for breakfast made me feel so happy. There was also a good variety of hot dishes, bread, and coffee, and refills were prompt.
The service was commendable: check-in at the front desk was quick, and they even proactively recommended some delicious local Hakka restaurants. There was welcome tea in the lobby, and when I left, they even gave me bottled water for the road – very thoughtful details.

Very conveniently located. Right opposite a bus terminal. We boarded bus no. 18 from the Mei Zhou West station to this terminal. The hotel is right opposite the bus terminal. Across the street, you can also find a lot of shops. Just continue walking for about 10-15 minutes to reach the popular pedestrian street: JiaYing Old street.
The nearest bus stand (not the bus terminal) which is less than five minutes walk diagonally opposite the hotel will allow you to catch the bus to the Hakka museum. It is worth going to the Hakka museum to have a in depth understanding about the Hakka clans in this part of the world.
The other interesting place to visit is NanKou, Hakka villages where you can see Hakka Dragon houses or Wei Long Wu. Buses#9 and #24 travel to and fro Mei Jiang city and NanKou village.
The hotel room is clean, sound-proof, spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff are generally helpful except one whom we met during the day shift. She seemed to be reluctant to help us when we asked about the local attractions. And unlike the other hotels that we have been staying in, we were told that we will be charged 3 yuan for one extra bottle of water. But later they still gave us two extra bottles without any charges. Thank you.

This hotel is located in a bustling downtown area, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive and modern, and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. It's a great choice for a stay, but the soundproofing is a bit lacking. We encountered a tour group returning late at night, which caused a lot of noise. Other than that, everything else was good. The breakfast offered a good variety, though it seemed to have fewer options compared to other Wyndham hotels.

I brought my mom here based on a travel blogger's recommendation. The blogger mentioned that the front desk helped with luggage upon arrival, but we didn't receive that service. The location is excellent; it's lovely to stroll along the river after dinner, and it's very convenient to get to the old town. We were given complimentary fruit. The cleanliness was just so-so, and some areas felt a bit dated. My main complaint is that the floors are thin, and the soundproofing from upstairs is poor. We unfortunately had children staying above us who were running barefoot at 11:30 PM, during naptime, and again at 6 AM. I reported it to the front desk staff, hoping they could speak to them, but instead of potentially offending the guests, they offered to move us to another room. I declined because I didn't want the hassle of packing and moving all our luggage. Unfortunately, the noise continued on the second night. This was quite bothersome to me.

Staying in the city center was much more convenient for my friend and I while we were in Meizhou for the flower show. The surrounding area was very lively, but once inside the hotel room, it was surprisingly quiet. The cleanliness and service were both excellent, and it offered great value for money.

Every time I travel, I get anxious about booking a hotel. I looked at all sorts of guides and finally found this place. I have to say, the online reviews were spot on! My experience at this hotel was fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a mahjong room. Being able to relax and play mahjong without even leaving the hotel was pure bliss.
**Transportation:** The hotel is conveniently located for getting to all major attractions.
**Cleanliness:** It was incredibly clean and tidy, and the room had no strange odors.
**Ambiance:** The hotel lobby is high-end and elegant, with several spots perfect for taking great photos.
**Facilities:** The hotel also has excellent facilities, including a laundry room and a restaurant.

This hotel is located right in the city center, by the beautiful Meijiang River, offering stunning views of the river flowing eastward. It's incredibly convenient for transportation and has the best parking facilities. While it commands a 5-star price, it definitely delivers 5-star service. The male receptionist provided excellent, efficient, and accurate service, checking us in exactly as per our booking notes. Room service was prompt, delivering requested items quickly. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the service was top-notch. The security staff were discreet but attentive, providing thoughtful and personalized service throughout our stay. In fact, every hotel staff member we encountered was polite and offered service with a smile. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

Great location, and they didn't jack up prices for Chinese New Year, which was a pleasant surprise. It's also an easy walk to the ancient town. The only downside was that most shops around were closed during the holiday. A huge plus for EV owners though: they have a charging station right outside the hotel! Definitely worth a good review. The pickled noodles and specialty soup for breakfast were both quite good.

It's newly renovated, and Home Inn truly feels so welcoming. My friend said they're coming to Meizhou to visit, and Home Inn is their top choice! It offers great value for money, excellent hygiene, and wonderful service. Plus, the front desk lady was incredibly gentle! Highly recommend Home Inn! My friend kept saying how great it was, hahaha. It's super close to Keduhui and Wanda, and there are places nearby where you can stroll around. It's perfect for family trips or friends traveling together! Seriously, five-star review!! Oh, and the hairdryer is powerful but doesn't get too hot. The room feels very cozy, and the overall ambiance is lovely. The desk area is especially bright, and now it's even smarter with Xiao Du to control the lights and air conditioning. The most important thing! The toilet now comes with blue light sterilization!

缘缘颜Very satisfied with the room, service, everything. There is a free cup of coffee on the day of check-in. We were given breakfast rolls for the next day.
There is a small supermarket opposite the hotel and a shared parking space.
The location is a bit bad, there is not much place to go shopping at night. It's also a bit far from Youluo Street. There are not many choices when it comes to eating. You have to take a taxi to get out of there.
It’s convenient if you’re driving by yourself because there are a lot of parking spaces.

GGuest UserThe hotel is decorated in a high-end style. The furniture and beds are all made of solid wood. The room is big enough, clean and odorless. The service attitude is very good. My child is not used to eating outside, so they specially served white porridge for my child. Thanks to the beautiful sisters in the restaurant. Because we were in a hurry to catch a flight, they specially prepared lunch for us in advance. Thank you. I will choose this place again next time I travel. It is also convenient to enter and exit and is close to the airport.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserStrongly not recommended! I experienced this firsthand and have to complain!!
The room was generally okay, and the cleanliness was acceptable, but the so-called ”smart” features were infuriating—the things that should be smart weren't, while the useless parts were ridiculously smart!
First, the bathroom door was a sliding door that worked for both wet and dry areas. Closing the door while showering meant being completely exposed when using the toilet, offering absolutely no privacy!
Second, not only did the TV not support screen mirroring, but there wasn't even a port for an external screen mirroring device! Want to watch what you want? Forget it!
The most infuriating thing was the motion-sensor light in the bathroom! It was infuriatingly sensitive; even turning over in bed would ”wake it up”! It kept inexplicably turning on all night, like a nightmare. Add to that the constantly flashing blue lights of the ”Do Not Disturb” and ”Clean Now” buttons in the dark, and it was like watching a horror movie! I finally had to cover the light with something to barely fall asleep. The lighting is intermittently erratic; those with sleep problems are strongly advised to wear an eye mask, otherwise, forget about sleeping!
Oh, and the room is right next to the street, incredibly noisy. You'll probably need to bring your own earplugs.
As for service? They said they'd respond promptly after we added them on WeChat, but often we waited and waited, and no one answered. After we solved the problem ourselves, customer service finally belatedly replied with a dismissive ”What's the point of having customer service?!”
Ultimately, all we can do is adapt to the environment, not change it. Once bitten, twice shy; I'll never fall into this trap again!
