Located at strategic location which near to f&b outlets, shopping and attractions. The room is clean and huge with wine glasses 😍 Nothing to do with the hotel, just my personal experience at 10.30pm when walking back from work. I got chased by junkie and luckily a group of local protected me and walked me back hotel. Thankful to meet them

Citadines on Bourke Melbourne offers a convenient location and comfortable accommodation. The main downside was the housekeeping service, which was only scheduled every 3 days. We needed to contact reception to arrange room cleaning and request amenities. The staff were friendly and responsive, but more frequent housekeeping would significantly improve the guest experience.

The hotel is spacious and situated in a beautiful part of the east end in melbourne. We had a great time there! Thank you.

Overall, not a bad stay despite the various pain points. Expected more from a hotel tied to Ascott though. Pros: Located right infront of a free tram zone in the heart of CBD. Easily accessible to variety of places - mostly walkable. Pretty big room - has a separate living room Has a kitchenette as well as cabinet filled with cutleries, cooking pots & pans. Service was rather nice very helpful in various issues and also can receive packages. (However, one staff wasn’t very nice to us but very nice to the Caucasian couples who cut in front of us. Our keycard were locked for some reason and went to her for help - verification wasn’t very thorough like the other staff & when we feedback that our keycard that was left in the room was taken away after housekeeping she was unbothered - could seriously be a safety issue esp for ladies if the housekeeper was shady. Thankfully our check-in staff had deactivated it for room access and made it only usable for electricity) Laundromat was rather cheap - AUD6 Cons: Place is a little hard to spot - doesn’t have a big entrance door that is spottable. Hallways of the rooms looks kind of old - felt shady (but that’s just exterior, inside itself is fine) Housekeeping is only done every 3 days - left our takeaway bags & trash for 3 days and there was cockroach nymph. Not super thorough in cleaning too (we left an iron board infront of the desk that covered the dustbin and it wasn’t emptied, had to use a paper bag to hold our thrash - but again also seem like a pro cause they don’t touch your things?) Although filled with amenities but also doesn’t seem to be filled? - no bowls, no dishwasher & soap (please bring/buy your own to wash) Only rain shower head available, no second detachable shower head. No bidet. Room walls are quite thin - can hear the outside easily but am not easily bothered. (Good for those who cares to take note) On the last day, aircon had issue - kept turning on & off on its own (quite loud that I heard it during my sleep (I’m a light sleeper)) Also, they got no memory foam pillows & beds were rollable. No locks so our beds were constantly moving around. Bring adapters!! - not a big con & should be well prepared but they only have wall outlets

The location is great and overall we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, housekeeping gave us a different surprise on both days. 😂 On one day, the card we had inserted in the room’s power slot was taken away. Another night, at around 11pm when we were getting ready for bed, we realized there was no duvet in the room. We called the front desk and were told that they had run out of duvets. Thankfully, the staff responded very quickly and brought us a brand-new, unopened duvet. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay!

A hotel in a stellar location that looks recently renovated. The location is right beside Chinatown and inside the CBD with a tram stop right outside the door. There is so much shopping and food nearby. The hotel looks very clean and my room was very modern. However there are some signs of age such as my sink draining slowly. Overall this is an excellent choice and the price was really agreeable.

booked for 8 nights but only stayed for 3 nights as my child fell sick and had to return to singapore urgently to seek medical care but the hotel refused to refund for the 5 nights we did not use. we officially checked out after the 3rd night. the hotel should be more forgiving since it’s emergency medical reasons and not due to other personal issues. we even have a discharge form and medical certificate when my child was admitted in melbourne hospital. due to this i would rate the service low. i tried seeking for refund for the days we did not use at all, but trip.com said that the hotel refused to refund.
