Unfortunately, there are no large shopping malls nearby. For shopping and dining, you have to go to the city center or distant towns.

The average hotel room is relatively small, but that's understandable in Melbourne's CBD where land is at a premium. The Four Seasons Hotel is not bad. There is a tram as soon as you walk out, and there is also a gym.
