Mercure North Melbourne

Staff were lovely and very knowledgeable. Check in was a breeze. The buffet breakfast was lovely also with a great selection. Unfortunately the room was a huge letdown. Didn’t feel clean, and there was a large amount of mould in the bathroom area. Showers were very temperamental. Walls were thin - we were woken by our neighbours making a lot of noise. And could generally hear the conversations from next door. Lifts didn’t appear to be reliable- instead we opted for the stairs. Car parking was ok - and we secured one undercover. The gate to enter the larger outdoor carpark was interesting, sometimes it worked - others it didn’t - and I witnessed the boom gate hitting several cars. They did have a funny system where we needed to deposit a coin to exit the carpark (coin available from hotel reception). Felt very much like an old motel type accommodation. Probably the most least appealing Accor hotel we have stayed in.
Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs

Staff were very helpful, it was quite clear that there were several new staff doing their best and learning on the job, great to see in the hospitality industry. Ordering was a little confusing but we got there in the end. Unfortunately a mishap with the wrong beer being poured, the staff quickly corrected this. Arancini special was awesome. Pork cutlet main excellent. New steak knives maybe needed. Room very well presented. Would really like to see hand sanitiser available as you exit the toilets as all venues should. A pity I have to mark this 4/5, better rated 93/100. Definitely will stay and dine again.😉
Mercure Melbourne Doncaster
4.7/553 Reviews
I had an amazing experience staying at the Mercure Doncaster! Firstly, the room was beautiful, clean, and fit for my short-stay business purposes. What I was most impressed by however was the customer service! My colleague and I needed to find a last minute venue for a business meeting with international clients, and the staff at Mercure very kindly accommodated us with one of their available meeting rooms free of charge. The room was spacious, well-organised, modern and the technology was extremely easy to use! The staff support and amenities allowed for a seamless experience which we were very grateful for. A special thank you to Isabella, the Reception Manager who saved the day (even offering to extend my checkout time to suit the time of our meeting).
Mercure Pakenham

An overnight stay - very new, neat and clean. Little pricey for the location and compared to the other ”options” but then Pakenham needs such facilities and it was quiet and staff were all friendly and helpful. Would stay again if the need arises.
Mercure Melbourne St Kilda Road
3.9/535 Reviews
The hotel is on the south bank of the Yarra River. Overall, the location is not as convenient as in the CBD area, but fortunately it is relatively quiet. The inconvenience is that you need to take a car to go to the CBD every day. The Melbourne city tram from Zone 1 to Zone 2 costs 5 Australian dollars if you cross the area. If you go shopping in the CBD and come back in the afternoon, it will cost 10 Australian dollars a day. There are still some transportation costs. Fortunately, the hotel is right on the main road. There are many trams that can go to the CBD area, which is very convenient. The facilities are relatively new and the front desk service is quite friendly.
Mercure Melbourne Albert Park

I stayed two nights in Feb 23. I stood behind the world's longest check in for demanding guest. Said guest returned to reception within 2 minutes with photos of his room and demanding a change. This made me a tad concerned but no need. Reception staff were very polite. My room was as expected. It was neat and tidy and the bed was wonderful, great linen. TV was modern and excellent. Air con great. Bathroom is out of date, but clean and no issues. Meals are good. Good vibe on the hotel ground floor with a bar which was well frequented. Clearly the hotel is overdue for a refurb and the prices could be lower to reflect that but it is still worth staying at. I would stay again.
