The family of hosts takes very good care of you, from the lovely and abundant breakfast to all type of advices for things to do in the surrounding. The hotel is in typical chalet style as you woul expect from it in this area. It is placed just in front of the ski lift and it offers also a brunch with lovely food and indoor/outdoor tables if you want to take a break during your ski day. The small village is at walking distance and worth a visit, even if the whole area is a bit isolated. You'd need a car as Bardonecchia centre is at 5mins drive distance. We've been great here, we'd like to come back, and we strongly recommend it!!

Positive points: very close to the ski lift, kindness of the hotel team, easily reachable from Milan (1,5h taking the high-velocy FrecciaRossa train) Negative points: it's a tiny little city without ubers, without taxis, with a bus that stops operating at 6pm. Very few restaurants all with the same menu (pizza, pizza, pizza)

Esperienza fantastica! L hotel è situato accanto la biglietteria del comprensorio Melezet, perfetto per esser la mattina presto in pista! Personale gentile, professionale e simpatico, ottima la sauna e vasca idromassaggio. Consiglio di esser muniti di mezzi propri per raggiungere Bardonecchia la sera. Hotel La Pigna SUPER CONSIGLIATO!

Siamo statin in questo ristorante di ritorno dalla valle stretta dopo la passeggiata al lago verde.Ottimo pranzo rilassante ai piedi della funivia. Servizio veloce, prezzi nella norma, personale gentile. Lo consiglio. Si può anche stare sulle strano a prendere il sole in totale relax
