Parador de Melilla ★★★
"This Parador is not of the chain’s normal standards, but then in Melilla you barely have any competition and choices. My bathroom was yucky with no window and ventilation, so paint was peeling from the ceiling, mold flourished in the caulking between tiles, water leaked every time from the bathtub/shower onto the marble floor rendering it dangerously slippery. Extending into the bedroom itself, it was dilapidated (many broken floor tiles and outdated furniture) and not the cleanest (loose hair found on flat surfaces and dubious stains on the walls). My “Superior” room had a large balcony with pleasant views of Mount Gourougou, but Melilla’s blustery winter winds minimized my use and enjoyment of it during the 1st week of January when I was there. On the plus side, the bed & linens were comfortable, and the Reception staff were responsive and tried to please."
Hotel Anfora ★★★
"very well"
Hotel Melilla Puerto ★★★★
"Hotel Melilla Puerto is, as the reviews suggest, the best hotel in Melilla. Having said that, there is not a great deal of competition, but that does not detract from the quality of the hotel. The reception area that greets you is clean and shiny, and filled with pleasant chairs and friendly staff members. A lift is always available to take you to a reasonably cosy room with a comfy bed and, in our case at least, a spacious living area. We played the traditional, obligatory game of 'find the exact point where the shower is not scalding hot or freezing cold' in the bathroom, but once we found the spot, it proved to be dependable for the duration of our stay. We had a Seaview room, which was worth the extra few Euros, but did mean we were subject to some sort of mini riot in the carpark below at about four or five on Sunday morning, which kept us awake for a bit. The breakfast was pretty good, with some varied and tasty offerings that included a decent selection of hot and cold food (although no ketchup was readily available). All things considered, our stay was very enjoyable and the city of Melilla well worth a visit; we will probably return at some point and we will almost definitely stay at this hotel once again, although I may bring my own ketchup."
Hotel Nacional Melilla ★
"The room smells a bit. The sheets are stained. The service is good. The front desk and the cleaning lady are good."
Hotel Rusadir ★★★★
