Home2 Suites by Hilton Memphis Downtown

Very nice hotel that is on walking distance from Beale street. They have swimming pool inside, but no jacuzzi, even though I saw it on one of the pictures when booking. Breakfast is ok. Parking is $35 a day.

We stopped here unexpectedly while traveling through from Florida, and we couldn’t have been more grateful for our choice. From start to finish, the experience truly exceeded our expectations. Every employee we encountered was kind, courteous, and genuinely helpful. It wasn’t just good service—it felt like the entire team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Even more refreshing was the sense that the staff genuinely enjoys their work and takes pride in being there. That kind of positive atmosphere is rare and makes a noticeable difference as a guest. A special shoutout to Tara, Jordyn, and Ja’Marius, who were all wonderful—but honestly, every single staff member we interacted with contributed to such a positive stay. We travel often and primarily stay with Hilton (along with other hotel brands), and this stands out as one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Whatever leadership and team culture is in place here is clearly working. This hotel was also spotless and felt brand new - loved that. Thank you for creating such a welcoming, exceptional environment. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel, arriving on a Saturday afternoon. It was much busier on the weekend than during the week, with families enjoying the indoor pool. We loved the sofabed, ottoman and large screen tv in our room for relaxation. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. Everything is super clean throughout the hotel. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We were able to walk to almost all of the attractions we came to see from this location and used Lyft for the rest, which was very reasonable and prompt. It is a very good value and I would stay here again.

Nice stay. Clean rooms, nice stays. Pros - Free breakfast. Items include whole grain waffles, real eggs, grits, and other continental items. The yogurt from the machine is made with cane sugar and real vanilla. So good! Free laundry, nice kitchenette with microwave and full refrigerator. Rooms were super clean. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Cons - The parking is limited. The lot is small and its assigned on a first come basis. There is parking along the side of the streets. Its visible if you have a room that faces Vance or Second Street. There is a $20 private lot across the street but it's not monitored. There is $35 valet parking and I was told that the hotel uses a secured garage of a bank. I found out the hotel intended to use the lot across the street and the hold up is the city. Hopefully that will be resolved soon. I was able to secure a free space the 2nd and 3rd day. The hotel is on the outskirts of downtown and within walking distance to the National Civil Rights museum. There are also unique shops within walking distance. I walked the neighborhood and saw others walking as well. Didn't feel unsafe but you always have to stay aware of your surroundings.

If you're planning to visit downtown Memphis, I highly recommend Home2 Suites for a perfect stay. Tara at the front desk was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Street parking was plentiful and felt very safe. The property itself is new and exceptionally clean. We enjoyed the oversized room, and the kitchenette would be super convenient for a longer stay. A very comfortable bed and good pillows set us up for a good night's sleep after a long day walking around. Beale Street is an easy walk away and we felt safe, even late at night. There were more breakfast options than I usually see at comparable hotels, and everything was good quality. A great value!
