I have rated this hotel excellent only because of the staff and location. The hotel itself is very basic . We stayed for 3 nights and the rooms were not serviced. Breakfast was all on cardboard plates and plastic cups . They ran out of tea bags and bread. However it’s in a good location and the staff are fantastic especially when you leave your IPad in your room and they send it Fed Ex to New Orleans to meet you at your next hotel !!

Guest House was beautiful. It felt as if I was walking into a movie scene. Very beautiful place. They have a movie theater with free Elvis movies each night, food was excellent and service was superb. Location is great and very secure. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We expected a good experience and instead had a great experience. Everything about the Peabody was great from arrival to departure. Hotel is beautiful, room was lovely, location is perfect in downtown Memphis, food is incredible, shops are great, ducks are unique and it has good self parking. Only thing I wish they had was rooms with two queen size beds

The location is very good, the surrounding environment is good, quiet, the top floor observation deck is very good, you can look at the Mississippi River, you can see the bridge marked 'M'. The restaurant on the top floor is also good, you can go and taste it. There are no convenience stores and shopping malls around. It is more convenient to have a car or rent a car. This is the case in the general cities of the United States. It is very inconvenient to have no car. There are some snacks (popcorns and the like) in the hotel room that can be enjoyed free of charge. The hotel room is ok, but we live in a suite with an outdoor deck that can go out and enjoy the exterior. The terrace is large and connected to the next room. There is no problem with security. All the platforms need to be swiped before they can enter. There are leisure sofas on the platform, but there are more dust on the sofa and coffee table and the ground, as well as spider webs. The hotel is located in a large outdoor goods store. The interior decoration is very special. Some real animal specimens, birds, deer, etc. can be seen everywhere. There are also some introductions to the origin of the hotel, which is very story-like. I like to enjoy life in the American country. There is also a battlefield in the mall. There are guns and ammunition on the second floor. The hotel itself is very nice. Our room was lovely, quiet, large, 2 big beds which were amazingly comfortable. Wish I could have taken the pillows home. The room was cleaned daily. I am quite surprised how many reviews have said the hotel is dirty. This was definitely not the case from what we experienced. 15 minute walk to Beale Street although you can use the free shuttle. Reg is so lovely and friendly and you just need to give a tip. Breakfast is $15 each or you walk over to the Sheraton, you can get a tram to various cafes that do breakfast. The Bar opens at 3.00pm and the bar lady is friendly, however the cost of a bottle of wine is $43! To be honest the whole of the USA is expensive for wine! The only reason we haven't given 5 stars to this hotel, the Reception Staff are miserable! We arrived at 2.45pm and went straight to the desk, excited, as you do, to be told abruptly check in is not until 3.00pm so my partner and I sat waiting until 3.00pm after a long time travelling. We then stood about 2 metres from the Desk and still ignored. I had to stand right up at the desk and then the young woman finally said come over to this one. No smile, no greeting, no advice, no nothing. To be treated like that on arrival is disgusting. She either had a very bad day or should not be in a customer facing role! I have never experienced this attitude at a hotel before. Unfortunately we did not catch her name but we did complain to the Manager Bruce about the poor service. Sadly this is one of the things we remember most about the hotel.

Very nice, clean property. Large room, comfortable bed. Had a couch, ”coffee table” in the room, which is unusual. Good night of sleep. Breakfast was somewhat limited. If the hotel experienced full occupancy I would think that parking would be a problem. Management needs to, somehow, monitor/control smoking of illegal items. Price was a little more than we like to pay, but it was a little nicer than some of the less expensive properties.

Staff was super friendly and hotel is just a short drive to the airport. Room smelled terrible and was very run down. Didn’t even have a garbage can in the room. Worst part was the cockroach I smashed in the morning. Could not get out of there fast enough. Do not recommend staying here

Location was fantastic - close to River park access and street car line. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was good for tall people and had adequate pressure to rinse shampoo from hair. Best thing about this hotel was the staff. So friendly, so helpful.
