Ibis Styles Mt Isa Verona

I stayed here on a business trip, the room was clean, good amenities and the staff were friendly and curtious. free wine by the glass in the room and some water which is always a welcome sight after a long flight. There is a very good restaurant downstairs that accepts accor plus and discounts the meal. I will stay here for all future visits to Mt Isa

What a great Hotel. Warm welcome by staff and Tony ( GM). Room was brilliant and Dinner in restaurant was amazing. Barista coffee for bfast was a treat.

The house keeping was terrible. The bed was never made. The breakfast was a joke. We were there for 3 mornings and the same food was put out each day. The only fruit available was an orange. The pastries were 4 days old and stale. There was bread, available to toast but no plates to put it on. It cost over $22 per person. You would be better off pretty much anywhere else in town! The staff were all lovely.

We arrived into Ibis Styles Hotel early evening, we received a good welcome at check-in. We were soon given a key card for the standard room that we booked. We also asked for a taxi to be booked for the following morning which was kindly arranged for us. The room was spacious but worn around the edges but had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The TV had a good range of channels, tea and coffee facilities were provided. The aircon worked well and there was no noise from outside. The bathroom was good with a small bathtub and powerful shower, wall mounted soap dispensers were provided. We left early the following morning so we didn't have the chance to have breakfast unfortunately. It was a good stay at the hotel, the price of the room was quite high however the room was spacious for the money paid. The staff were friendly and approachable, we would stay there if we visited Mount Isa again.

Our stay in Mount Isa was made more comfortable by this hotel. Clean and easy access to the city centre. Check was easy and efficient, Laundry was available and easy to access. Staff were very friendly.

Disappointed with the room. There was a strong smell of mustiness or mould in the bedroom. The shower had black on the lower tile grout and needed a good scrub. The bedside lamps were more like ornaments as they were not attached to a power outlet and there were neither power points or usb outlets on the bed side of the room. The only shampoo or soap available was in the shower as the pump style container near the wash basin was empty. Between the smell and the lack of light near the bed our stay was not comfortable.
