Hotel Villa Laurus
"Very kind and friendly staff. The breakfast was generous and the relaxation area was well-equipped. The rooms are very basic but spacious. The bathroom has a large shower. The only downside I have to mention is the bathroom's lack of impeccable cleanliness (which must have been an oversight). If I were to stay in the area again, I would definitely give it another chance."
Hotel Therme Meran - Terme Merano
"Lovely staff"
Hotel Aurora
"Top Location, Perfect Service,"
Hotel Pension Verdorfer
"From the moment we arrived, the experience at this charming hotel exceeded the expectations. The cozy atmosphere feels like home. Every morning began with a delicious homemade breakfast. The staff/owner were exceptional, always ready with helpful tips for exploring the local area. They even provided a bus ticket, making transportation a breeze but the city can also easily reached on foot within 20 min (downhill). Parking was convenient and the rooms were clean with warm water. As a special touch, we received a lovely surprise for New Year's Eve."
Grand Hotel Bellevue - Adults Only
"Creaky beds, missing towels, no safe keys, no refrigerator in the room."
Hotel Europa Splendid
"We stayed one night on this hotel. It is a 3 star plus hotel. Reception was nice and resourceful. Bedroom good and clean. Very well located. We do recomend this hotel."
Villa Eden a Member of Leading Hotels of the World
"Very elegant, refined, exclusive but at the same time welcoming hotel where kindness and professionalism are a certainty. All the staff are extremely kind, competent and always available for every customer request. The rooms are beautiful, welcoming and offer every comfort. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. Cutting-edge treatments, high-level cuisine. Special praise to the landlady, Mrs Angelika, always present and attentive to the needs of the guests. Special thanks to Dr. Nobilis, Dr. Nobius, Ines, Sonia, Maria Cristina, Peter, etc. Highly recommended"
Hotel Castel Rundegg (Adults Only)
"I stayed one night with my wife in a double room. The room was basically clean (there was a long spider web and dust of about 10 cm in the bathroom) and can be considered a normal room, which does not justify the high cost. The two swimming pools and the wellness area with sauna and Turkish bath available to guests are appreciated. I booked a 90-minute treatment (Rasul Haman) at the spa for my wife. Apart from the mix-up with the booking time, which was changed more than once without even being notified, my wife would have liked to add another treatment, but they did not have any other appointments available. Nevertheless, they reduced the time of the booked treatment by including the second one, but leaving the price of the first one unchanged and adding the second one, which was possible thanks to the sale of creams (paid for in cash). Finally, it is curious that the hotel's website advertises the GOLDEN AUTUMN IN MERANO with a 15% discount on accommodation (see the section SPECIAL DEALS of the hotel portal) , but when I asked for the discount by email, Mr David replied that “we are currently in peak season”, which is rather bizarre for October 11! We booked half board with dinner included; the meal was plentiful, and I did not fully appreciate everything (the risotto, for example, had a lot of liquid in the dish). In conclusion, I think the value for money is quite low, mainly because the cost is too high for the quality of the room and the food."
City Hotel Merano
"Staying for one day and was surprised when I walked into the room - living area and kitchen and room. Great and pleasant red and off white color scheme. My room is right next to the workout room and outdoor jacuzzi. Free herbal tea with real cup and sauce! Fantastic! 5 min. From stores and restaurants."

Windsor Merano Hotel & Suites
"The hotel is strategically located in the city center, at the edge of the pedestrian area but also close to the local train station. The rooms are spacious, quiet and extraordinarily clean. Breakfast is lavish and it offers a variety of food, from fine local cakes and pastries to high quality bread and cold cuts. The staff is helpful and ready to give advice for an unforgettable holiday."
Hotel Mignon Meran Park & Spa
"Our stay at Park Hotel Mignon was as near to perfection as it’s possible to get. It’s evident that the hotel is run by a family who care about their guests and their hotel as every small detail had been thought of. It’s impossible to list the little things that make such a difference. It wasn’t planned when we booked but this holiday turned out to be our honeymoon! We couldn’t have chosen anywhere more beautiful. We appreciated the lovely card from the family & our wine, flowers & fruit. Not to mention the duck!!! Rooms are big and very well equipped, wonderful beds, fabulous views and again many little extras that make a holiday special. Food here truly is gourmet every day with a very high standard of presentation and emphasis on local produce. Everywhere is immaculate and facilities are unbelievable with indoor and outdoor pools, a wonderful garden with many areas to relax and amazing 5* spa facilities. We had guided walks on two days and appreciated the free transport to the start of walks on another day. Merano is a short walk away and local transport less than 5 minutes. It’s a beautiful area. On a couple of evenings we were subtly entertained with music which was much appreciated, especially when my musician husband able to join them! I could go on, but suffice to say we hope to return. Thanks to the family and staff."
Hotel Pienzenau am Schlosspark
"My partner and I stayed in Merano in this hotel with a retro Habsburg style for 7 nights from August 16th to 23rd! We were wonderfully welcomed with warmth and attention as soon as we arrived! Attention to detail, cleanliness of both the structure and our room was top notch! Garden, flowers, the terrace of the structure with a breathtaking view to enjoy, two swimming pools and two saunas that my partner really appreciated! Excellent and relaxing breakfast and two quality dinners! At the reception you can find organized excursions of all kinds every day and finally the fact that we don't have a car, the management thought of offering us two passes valid for a week on all public transport in Trentino (truly the icing on the cake)!! Compliments to the owners and all the staff! Greetings from Adry & Ludy To return RECOMMENDED"
Villa Bavaria
"Very friendly staff Wonderful Hotel Excellent Eating Very quiet and yet close to the centre"
Hotel Kolping
"A lovely hotel, very welcoming staff and quality foods. We specially liked the wellness area because of the quietness, no noisy children. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small and the area is exposed to busy road. Parking lots are fine for small car, with bigger cars you have a challenge. Overall we liked our stay and will come again."
Hotel Villa Freiheim

Both the Golden Spa and the Reception team deserve a special mention: thank you to Antije and Lorena for their expertise and to the two Saras and the Fuflers' daughter for their kindness and insight! As for food, excellent breakfast and interesting dinner menu. I'll be' Jack forca visit, stay assured!"

"Very confortabile bed, very nice bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Nice view from the terrace, super espresso. Good location, easy access to downtown with a lot of choices for restaurants and terrace. See you next time for one of the best experience in Merano."
Hotel Villa Westend
"Comfortable stay. Beautiful old villa. Large room with private bathroom and balcony overlooking the river. Good breakfast. On site parking. Downside: wifi can be challenging, house needs some TLC (updates and repairs) . No A/C but we were here in October. Days were hot but room stayed cool. Might not be the case in July. Owner / manager was nice. Different sense of humor. Note: yes, they keep your passport overnight. Welcome to Italy."
