"Very bad hotel, definitely not recommended, the room was big, it was a suite, but there was a smell, it was very run down and didn't feel clean. I live on the third floor and there is no elevator, so I have to carry my luggage up to the third floor."

Premiere Classe Bordeaux Ouest - MÉRIGNAC AÉROPORT ★★

📍 71 Av. John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Merignac

"I received an email with instructions for self-check-in, which said that I needed to find a machine if I arrived outside reception hours. After unsuccessfully searching, one of the guests advised me to go to the first hotel, since there are two different hotels in the building. It turned out that check-in takes place through the reception desk of the first hotel, and there is no self-check-in machine on the hotel grounds. The staff were very friendly and helped me. Overall, I liked the room, it was clean. The bed was comfortable. It's a pity that there was no kettle or hairdryer in the room. The hotel is opposite a construction site, it was quiet on the weekend. But on Monday they started working at 7:30 am. The hotel is not far from the airport, there is a tram stop nearby. In about 45 minutes you can get to the city center on this tram. In the hotel itself there is a restaurant and a machine with walls and drinks. You can walk for about 10 minutes and you will see several cafes and shops."

"After getting off the plane, I'll stay here for one night. It's very close to the airport, but there aren't many places to eat nearby. There's a big TV downstairs where you can watch sports games. The breakfast is nothing special, just a typical Western breakfast."

Best Western Hôtel du Phare

"As a loyal Best Western customer, I regularly stay at their hotels and have accumulated a significant number of points. Regarding the Mérignac hotel, the welcome was very professional. However, I received neither an upgrade nor any special attention to the room, despite booking more than a week in advance—perhaps the hotel was already fully booked. The room was, however, spacious and clean. I recommend this hotel, which is well located near the city center and not far from Bordeaux, in a quiet area, with ample parking."

B&B Bordeaux Mérignac Aéroport

"Stayed here twice over the last fortnight, not convinced we will again. Room just very tired and basic and in need of attention. Temperature of room very hard to regulate, was pretty cold the second time we stayed. On a positive note was cheap and the staff both times were excellent. But, all in all, not great."

Hampton by Hilton Bordeaux Merignac Airport ★★★

"The hotel is very clean and conveniently located close to the airport. However, there were a few things I didn't like. There is no room service, and no complimentary bottled water is provided in the room. In addition, the guest-to-guest parking arrangement is awkward and could be improved."

Novotel Bordeaux Merignac ★★★★

"I was suddenly invited to a friend's house party in Bordeaux, so I hastily booked this hotel. I heard it was close to the airport, but it was also conveniently located near a tram. Unusually for a French hotel, they had conditioner, which was a great help. The only downside was that the elevator was far away 🥲 Using the stairs would make getting around much easier."
