"I arrived on foot from the airport (maybe 15 to 20 minutes) at around 2130 hrs. Whilst all other hotels were dark concrete blocks, Greet Hotel looked extremely welcoming and totally different, as it had a garden area that was lit up and an entrance that beckoned you in. There seemed to always be somebody at the reception/bar, so it was easy to check in and out. I had the simplest room, which was compact, but perfectly OK. No frills, no tea/coffee. Breakfast was a mixture of good and not so good. The coffee was fine, and they had good bread, some fruit and cereals. You could boil an egg too. The jams, though, were cheap, over-sweet and nasty, thus spoiling the good bread. A pity. A baguette would have been nice, as would a croissant- and no marmalade. Overall, I thought it was a very good deal. The outside area, with table tennis, was cheery, and the main lobby area, with a football machine, was great as well. The outside bathtub with goldfish in it added some quirkiness to what is a budget Hotel. Good value."

The room was, however, spacious and clean. I recommend this hotel, which is well located near the city center and not far from Bordeaux, in a quiet area, with ample parking."
