"A lovely hotel. Good price, good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Free coffee/tea/hot chocolate 24/7, as well as warm cookies in the afternoon. A nice touch. Breakfast was good, not a big buffet, but enough. Unfortunately the thing that let this hotel down was the awful smell in our room and the mould all over the bathroom and in the shower. There was wallpaper peeling off the wall and a rusted light fitting. A shame, because otherwise it would have been perfect."

"There’s not a lot (if any) of nice options in Grand Junction, but I stayed at super 8 the night before, and it was a complete mess. I was hoping for a better experience here, which I did get. But I was still unimpressed with the outdated furniture and bathroom, my ice bucket had the old bag of ice from the previous guest with water still in it. The front desk crew was super nice, so I appreciate that. I feel like at the price point, every room should have a refrigerator, luckily they were able to store my cold food downstairs in the community refrigerator. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I feel like Doubletree should do better even in a place like Grand Junction."

"Dishonest business. Did not follow their in-person booking and 48 hour cancelation policy. Did not refund the money for the 4 nights we did not stay according to their policy after we were told multiple times by the manager and an employee that we would receive a refund in 7-10 business days. Involved local bar patrons and attempted to include other restaurant customers in the moment dispute. Unbelievably unprofessional. Do NOT stay here."
