She used the excuse that she didn’t understand Chinese and couldn’t even be bothered to read the communication emails sent to them by Ctrip. She simply said that we were not allowed to check in. Although they eventually let us stay, the overall experience was very unpleasant."

"This hotel is in a good location, on a popular street. It seems to be the only area around with buildings taller than three stories, which makes it feel like you're in the city. However, it's not quite up to the standard of a Marriott in China, and the food was just okay."

"This place is amazing and is such a gem. We loved sitting in our own private hot tub looking up at the stars. I can't recall the last time I saw so many stars! My only complaint was that we were only there for one night. My wife and I plan on returning for 2 or 3 nights so we can take advantage of the hiking in the area and the pool and spa. It really is a shame that the auto museum has closed to the public. The group I was with did get a private tour of the cars and we were blown away. I would honestly come back just to tour the museum again. I sure hope they can find a way to open this up again."

"There’s not a lot (if any) of nice options in Grand Junction, but I stayed at super 8 the night before, and it was a complete mess. I was hoping for a better experience here, which I did get. But I was still unimpressed with the outdated furniture and bathroom, my ice bucket had the old bag of ice from the previous guest with water still in it. The front desk crew was super nice, so I appreciate that. I feel like at the price point, every room should have a refrigerator, luckily they were able to store my cold food downstairs in the community refrigerator. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I feel like Doubletree should do better even in a place like Grand Junction."

"Was in good location just of highway walk across street to Applebee's or Denny's, didn't stay for breakfast but was available just wanted to get on road, was quiet so able to get sleep."
