"We booked a room with a balcony and sea view. Make sure you select a balcony, we got a french balcony which is very small to enjoy it but other than that great service, and location, a private beach and rooms. I couldn't have asked for anything less.very relaxing and great place to stay on amalfi coast. 12 min from sorrento , 23 min from positano. Had a trip of my life. Definitely will come back"

"The hotel is well located, but the breakfast is limited and of poor quality. The staff is overbearing, and there's no fruit available. The rooms have sea views. The paid garage is useful. The cleanliness is average, but not quite a 4-star."

"Great location but be prepared for a budget experience and being treated like a tourist in a resort town. You have to wear a wrist band that you cannot take off for the duration of your stay. There is a kitchen in the room but no dish soap, brush or cloth provided, guests need to bring their own. The stove didn't ignite however the the staff did send someone round who provided a lighter. When we were there commercial fireworks were let off every evening on weekdays and at 8am in the morning they were shockingly loud due to proximity with the cliffs. On the other hand the beach is nice although stony and the kids picked grapes and ate them from the grape vines through out the camp. The local wine is excellent and the town is charming."

"We had the most wonderful time! Such a beautiful home with the most amazing and accommodating hosts. We loved every moment of it and cannot wait to be back soon!! Location was great and Max and Mery were there to guide us through any questions we had, along with giving us the best recommendations. The rooms were stunning and extremely well kept. Be sure to take Mery’s cooking class as well! It was one of the highlights of our stay. 10/10 would recommend this place!!!!"

"A wonderful stay in Laqua by the sea. Everything was absolutely perfect! Our room was lovely and the breakfast was wonderful. The Wellness suite was very relaxing, after a hard day sightseeing. A special mention to Roberta, Luigi and Gaia, all of whom ensured that our holiday went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for them, booking taxis, arranging restaurants and having the local mini-bus pick us up. We also very much appreciated the owner coming to pick us up and take us to Laqua Countryside for our special meal. We had a fantastic holiday and would not hesitate to recommend this boutique hotel"
