Super 8 by Wyndham Metropolis

The carpeting felt damp & sticky in our room. Wore slippers all the time. Air-conditioning worked good. Room didn't have a closet area. Only 1 hook on the back of bathroom door.

WORST HOTEL EVER! DIRTY AND GROSS tried to charge me 60$ for my family to come swim in the pool for a hour! ran by unprofessional people!

******* scammed me out of $61.00. Do not use; beware!!!! Got to super 8 and they wanted $100.00 cash. Both are scammers!! So I had to drive 45 more miles even though ******* wouldn’t refund or help with this situation. I will never use ******* again!!!

Staff was very friendly and air-conditioning worthwhile breakfast was yummy with biscuits and gravy but room had cobwebs and smelled of urine. Bed was comfy with lots of soft pillows.

This property loves Frebreeze. I think they buy in bulk and use a garden sprayer to apply.

I haven't smoked in 53 years, as soon as I walked in the lobby the smoke smell was overwhelming. It smelled down the hallway and horrible in the room. I was short of breath this morning. My room smelled like vomit, the bathroom smelled like pee, I couldn't take a shower. The body wash dispenser was empty. There were no cups. No coffee maker. Worst stay ever anywhere!!! Please don't respond with your AI generated reply. I looked at some earlier reviews and no improvements have been taken.

Immediately upon entering the lobby from the front door, there was a strong scent of both pot and cigarette smoke. The whole hotel was dingy and dirty. The room smelled musty and unpleasant. There were ants in the bathroom and mold on the ceiling. The drains in both the sink and bathtub were slow and water collected while using either. Do not recommend.

This is a suitable choice for a budget hotel. It’s a Super 8 with a pool that was enjoyed by my kids and offered breakfast. Not a huge selection but has a waffle maker, toaster, and had biscuits and gravy. The room was clean. It does have smoking rooms so the smell is prevalent but the non smoking rooms are just fine. The hallways are the area that it is most noticeable. If you be a get pass that, it’s well worth the price.
