"We were picked up from Ioannina by Dallas Taxi service, organized by the hotel , and it was fantastic (friendly, clean, timely and fairly priced). As already mentioned, the hotel is set in a beautiful spellbinding location. The picture of its buildings do not do them justice. They are unobtrusive as possible, and lovingly maintained inside and out. Room are spacious and comfortable, with magnificent views over the village of Metsovo and the mountains around. Staff is welcoming and obliging, apart from a couple of exception, like the lady at the spa who treated me like dirt when I asked whether the pool has stairs or a ladder (I had two hip replacement in the last year) and the gentleman who shushed us in the lift because he was talking to some guests. The rest are nice and eager to please. Food is tasty varied and thoughtfully prepared. We had come to rest and relax, and we did and were happy, but be advised that if you don’t have a car there is very little to do in the immediate vicinity unless you take part in the trips organised by the hotel or take a taxi to Metsovo ((15 to 20 euro, same excellent Dallas taxi service) . "

"A true getaway. The hotel was the icing on the cake of our trip throughout Greece. Everything here was top-notch – the service, the location, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the comfort of the room. The mountain views from the windows are stunning. We loved watching the fire in the fireplace in our room. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. We asked for eggs cooked just the way we like them, and they did it perfectly. The owner and Georgiy's family welcomed us, cared for us, and saw us off like family, yet without being intrusive. We wanted to return to their kind, hospitable family. Their daughter even helped us buy train tickets, which turned out to be a challenge; we couldn't have done it without her. We walked from the hotel, and the car was parked in the indoor parking lot. We wish the hotel prosperity and really want to come back again."

"A very well located hotel in the heart of Metsovo. Old building but well maintained. Has it’s own parking which is very useful. Stayed for 1 night on our way to zagoroxoria. Friendly people and staff. Overall good experience. Would choose it again and suggest it to others."
