The location is really far away. It takes more than 30 minutes to drive to Dusseldorf and more than an hour to drive back during the morning rush hour. The parking lot under the hotel is 12.5 euros per night. The facilities are quite old, but fortunately they are relatively clean and there is plenty of hot water for bathing.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay in Hotel Alberga. Everything from check-in to check-out was excellent. Our room was large with desk and chairs for work. The shower was the best we've ever had - great pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent with great choice of cereal, fruit, cheese and freshly cooked eggs. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The welcome was professional and helpful. Very clean and spacious room which I could easily darken with blinds during the summer night. The floor in the room are tiles (which are much more hygienic than carpet)! My room was to the back of the building and very quiet through the night. Good shower cabin with thermostate water tap. The parking is in the deep garage with direct access to the hotel lobby and was included in the room price. The overall inside impression of the hotel looked very well organized and well maintained (hall, staircase, lift, etc). I skipped the Sunday breakfast but the breakfast room next to the lobby looked light and very well looked after. Would certainly recommend this hotel as a great value hotel!

Ideal for short stays. Good location and easy to reach. Everything very clean and functional. Courteous and friendly service. Business travelers in particular who don't care about luxurious frills will have a good night's sleep here and hardly miss anything.

Zimmer sehr sauber und groß, freundlicher Empfang, Parken (16-10:00) kostenlos in der TG, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl, eine absolute Empfehlung für den Kurzaufenthalt (mit Neandertaler-Besuch) - recht viel mehr bietet Mettmann leider nicht.
