"The hotel is of average standing, with small and basic rooms. But the prices are appropriate, and the location is convenient for visiting the region. Breakfast is decent, staff are very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there, a bit expensive, but good home cooking. Ask for a room at the back of the building, to avoid the noise of the traffic, which is quite intense, and also for the superb view of the countryside."

"I loved this place. I was on the Motorway and the drowsy thing on the dashboard of my rental car kept going off. I had just gotten off a redeye from the States. It was clear I wasn't going to make my hotel reservation in Normandy. I found this place on Priceline. It was quite a ways away, but it was one of the most beautiful drives I have ever been on. IIRC is was 49 miles. When I got to the town where the hotel was located it was like stepping back in time. The staff was welcoming and spoke English. My room was beautiful. It was more like a room in a new home. I was in a building beside the main hotel. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Both meals were outstanding. My stay here was one of the most memorable events of my trip. I was in France driving the Liberty Road and retracing my father's footsteps during the war."

"What a horrible little hotel! The tiniest of rooms with little or no amenities, and towels that have seen better days. The beds are uncomfortable, as are the bedclothes. The entire building is in dire need of a major cash injection to repair the faults and bring it into the 21st century. I cannot comment on the quality of food on the premises because my wife and I ate elsewhere. We didn't feel like throwing any more money at this joint than what we'd already overpaid for the shoebox of a room."
