Service was excellent and best location in Mexico City. However, the room wasn’t great. Poor water pressure in the shower, very dark bathroom lighting for makeup. Frustratingly, the “balcony/terrace” opened to the inside of the hotel and offered no fresh air. Also, the DJ spinning on the roof made our room shake and kept my 4 year old up until 10pm.

We stayed eight wonderful nights at this amazing pet friendly boutique hotel. The location is perfect. A short walk to shops, restaurants, cafes, and Parque Lincoln is one block away. Our room was very quiet considering the bustling neighborhood. The room was filled with natural light, very clean, with modern and new furnishings, supplied with large glass bottles of filtered water, and a nice size mini fridge. The building is from the 1940s and recently renovated to become the Kimpton. The Spanish tapas at the hotel restaurant, Pepe, were delicious and the cocktails at the restaurant bar and rooftop bar were great. The best part was the staff! Everyone from housekeeping, front desk, security, restaurant and rooftop were friendly, professional and welcoming. A special thank you to Angel, the hotel concierge for going above and beyond for us. He made our stay extra special. We look forward to our next visit. If you are looking for a great experience in the heart of Polanco this is your place!

Spacious rooms in a wonderful location, with beautiful design and phenomenal service. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff - the proactive service, careful attention, and peak hospitality made the Virgilio team stand out from other properties. The property is absolutely stunning with the live garden in the atrium. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The housekeeping staff provided multiple bottles of filtered water each day. The linens were comfortable, there was excellent water pressure in the shower, as well as an adjustable personal climate control. When I return (not "if!") I will request a quieter room. My room was on the entrance side on a lower level, and I heard excessive street noise between 7-10pm. Additionally, I could hear private conversations from the hotel restaurant due to the echo effect and thin walls.

Great boutique hotel. Very caring and sincere service, not snobby at all. Rooms are modern and clean. Nice touches with gratis drinks/snacks. Angel (the concierge) is a gem -- made the stay special for us. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.
