Difficult to say anything bad about this hostel. Perfect location with view of the main square. Good food, perfect bar/restaurant at the top with views of CDMX and on top of this good service. And it didn´t make it any worse that I had a dorm all by myself :-)

The most horrible hostel that I've ever stayed in Mexico. My room is facing inside patio, while the patio is totally blocked, which technically you don't have ventilation, in addition to all the shower room is facing to the same patio, the room is like a sauna, but the hostel doesn't have any fan, it is difficult to sleep at night. As the other guest have the same problem, the whole building even the toilet will open the window, all the noise will make it worse. Under this situation, the environment inside the room is also horrible, I got bed bug biting over my stay, even when I checked-in, the bed sheet has some dirt on it which is really disgusting. Stay away from this!

- rooms are small - it’s super loud at night, walls are paper thin. We were on the 5th floor right next to the rooftop bar (nightclub) and felt like we were trying to sleep in the middle of the bar it was that loud

Despite its convenient location and relatively clean rooms, several significant issues greatly affected our overall experience. One of the main drawbacks was the excessive noise within the hostel. Unfortunately, the rooms were all oriented towards either a closed courtyard or the staircase, and the lack of proper windows intensified the noise levels. Instead of windows, only wooden shutters were provided, which proved ineffective in blocking out the sounds from outside. As a result, getting a restful night's sleep became a challenge, and any hopes of tranquility were shattered as early as 5 am each morning. Adding to the disappointment, a booking issue arose during our stay. In an attempt to address the problem, the hostel offered us cocktail vouchers and a promised 15% refund. However, when we arrived at the bar to redeem the vouchers, we discovered that they were only valid for Mezcal or beer, contradicting the promise of cocktails as advertised. Furthermore, despite reaching out to the hostel twice regarding the 15% refund, we have yet to receive any response or reimbursement. This lack of follow-through reflects poorly on the hostel's commitment to customer satisfaction and further contributed to our disappointment.

This is one of the worst hostels I’ve ever stayed in. It felt so dirty and dark and old. The shower only lasts 10 seconds and you have to keep hitting a button to keep the water flowing. I felt really uncomfortable for my stay. Great location though.

The location is perfect, it can’t be closer to the Zocalo. The breakfast is quite good, the staff super helpful and the whole place is nice. The kitchen could be better but they have an amazing terrace with very good views. It’s also a bit noisy on weekends. They have a high variety of rooms to offer and the common restrooms and showers are good.

It's OK if you don't intend to sleep or if you're not planning on getting up early. The noise is unbearable like no other hostel in the planet. All hostels have some common area or bar, but these guys have a disco on the roof, and the building has a central shaft that siphons all the noise from the 5th floor to the 1st (where I was staying) where it booms and thumps all night until 1am, so for our 5am wake up time for our tours it was a complete deal breaker, I was looking for another place to stay while completely awake with heavy duty ear plugs, in bed. So heed the warnings, it's not a place to rest and get up early. It's a place to go to bed late and wake up late. The music wasn't good party music either, it was generic DJ stock.

Everything was fine until I checked out and changed rooms to stay one extra night. I left my tablet in the original room I booked and went back 2 or 3 hours after checking out to get it back, but all they said was that no one reported finding one. They took me to the room to check but since it had already been cleaned it wasn't there anymore.
