Rating: 0/5 – Possible Scam, Extremely Disappointing Experience I did not stay at this property and strongly suggest you be careful. The entire experience raised several red flags that indicate this could be a scam: Unattended Location: When I arrived at the property, no staff were present, and it lacked any visible signage or identification, making it impossible to verify whether I had arrived at the correct location. Additionally, there was no doorbell or alert system to notify someone of my arrival, leaving me stranded and unable to gain access. Impossible to Contact: The telephone number in the booking confirmation email went straight to voicemail or ultimately failed to connect. I also tried to contact them through WhatsApp, following the instructions in the email. However, I could not download the app, and when I tried to call the listed Mexican number using my local Mexican phone number, I still could not reach anyone. Misleading Booking Process: After receiving the booking confirmation, I was provided with further details on how to reach the property via WhatsApp. However, I found it impossible to connect with them through this method. The booking process felt suspicious and misleading, and I could not confirm my reservation. Erroneous Payment Claim: To make matters worse, I received an email claiming they could not process my payment. However, I checked my bank account and found that my card had already been charged. This raised further concerns about the legitimacy of this property. Given my experience, I suspect this could be a scam site, much like others I’ve encountered. The lack of communication, absence of a physical location, misleading booking process, and erroneous payment claims are all signs of a fraudulent operation. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this hostel and consider alternative options for your safety.

perfect location and it offers the best breakfast I've ever had in a hostel. Clau and hugo are truly authentic and put great effort into creating a sense of community among the guests. The market tour was an amazing experience, I highly recommend it!

I had an unforgettable week at Wanderlust. I met wonderful people and we planned amazing adventures around the city together. The balloon ride, taco tour, and market visit were truly incredible experiences. I wouldn’t have had them on my own. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

The best Viva Mexico I've ever had, thanks Hugo and Clau. We enjoyed a mexican cooking class with all the guests and then had dinner together. Later that night we went to Zocalo to continue the celebrations. A truly cozy and friendly place. Thank you for everything!

Clau and Hugo have a beautiful energy ! They look after so well their place. After 3 years traveling is the first hostel which offers a wpp group to join many activities with others ! Thank you both for be nice everyone ! OH ! I forgot ! BEST BREAKFAST EVER ! Too much love on it
