Unfortunately we were place on the first floor (despite the resort being almost empty) and without a view. It makes you feel like a second class citizen... The location of resort is ok, although you will need a car if you want to get out of the mountain and see the beautiful towns in the valley or enjoy hikes nearby. The food at the restaurant of the Hotel nearby is terrible, but you can get amazing food in Osana and other places nearby. The staff is friendly and attentive.

ALBARE residence is a rustic mountain side complex that was constructed around the 1980's. We had 3 people and exchanged for 2 - ONE BEDROOM units. Although, there were lots of single beds in the units and a murphy double/queen, the bathroom and kitchen were extremely small. Also, they change for kettles, or special appliances a weekly rental. Tough to cook in the old pots, pans and silverware was a mishmash. Cups and Dishes were OK. You have to bring your own sheets our towels, or "RENT THEM" from the reception, which are poor quality, and often need to be switched out as sizes were incorrect that they gave to us. Skiing is a slight hike up the mountain, but there is a short Gondola ride, where you have to go up stairs. There are a few restaurants and small shops, on the side of the mountain. We did do a lot of driving after skiing visiting small towns and local shops through the region. Difficulty in the late night drive up the mountain though, as it takes 15 minutes of winding road to get from the main route up to the complex. There were two EV changing stations on the complex as the rental car was gas and EV.

I stayed in the residences, not in the hotel directly. The hotel looked better. Pros: The resort is very well-located for skiing. Lockers are very close to the gondola up to the lifts. The restaurant was quite good. I regret not taking half-board. It didn't seem like the offered it to people in the residences, but when I asked, they said they would. There is no resort fee. The unit was very clean. The kitchenette was reasonably well appointed. Plenty of plates, but not so much to cook with. No microwave or freezer. Cons: They allow smoking in the units. Smells from other units, like cooking, pot smoking, the guy next door taking a dump, filtered into my unit. Walls thin, even normal conversation was clearly audible from the unit next door. This unit hasn't been renovated in very long time... like possibly the 80s or even the 70s. The furniture in the living area was exceptionally uncomfortable, kind of like the seating in an RV trailer. The beds also very hard. You have to pay extra for linen. There is an 80 euro cleaning fee. The view in my unit was of the roof.

Allego foto:

Settimana bianca, inizio marzo 2025.

Abbiamo letto i giudizi contrastanti.
